£28 is still good for a few minutes work Poppy
I have a strategy with the in-pnay bets, I guess it is a bit risky but I like the fun of it
Basically I put on the free bet at a score such as 2-1 to the favourites, then wait until the first goal is scored, and usually the odds then end up improving massively at betfair, as in last nights case, (although the first goal had already been scored before I did my first bet), which means I make a decent amount from it. Doens't always work, sometimes if there aren't any goals for a long time then it goes the other way, but its unusual in a match like that if there aren't any goals
So, having phoned a friend last night to discuss the conversation with cutie, I didn't get to bed until 12.15 and ds was up at 6, and considering I wanted an early night anyway, I'm now feeling knackeredHey ho, coffee is drunk and its time to get moving.
At least now I know which night I'm seeing him it takes a bit of the pressure off in terms of tidying the flat etc, I can at least do that on saturday (assuming my head allows it). I'm not planning on drinking much on friday night, I want a clear head for saturday and some money left for the night tooMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Hmm, we'll see whether a text comes through or not, I have a feeling it may not ... or manybe thats just me being negative, I'm not sure
Why can he not just make a bloody arrangement??
Because men (especially single men) are incapable of concentrating on more than one thing at a time  and I don't think they realise how hard it is being a single working mother and how we like to get things organised (because we have to).
Could you just leave it till Friday then text and ask if he still wants to go out? Just say that you have a child free evening and don't want to waste it if he can't make it - let him know that you're not going to be sitting at home pining over him and will still be going out to enjoy yourself??
Just a thought....
I really hope he texts thoughIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Hi Benben, not sure if you saw my post about cashback due re your mobile?2023 Weekly Cash Envelope Savings Challenge #04

Thankyou Lelly, I only saw it tonight sorry for not replying! I actually bought the stamps to post it today as I've been carrying it around in its envelope for a few days. Thanks for the reminder though
It also means I can get the christmas cards posted now too
After school we went to town and bought some xmassy bath bombs in Lush for various t.a.'s / support workers for ds to give out at school. So now that we're home the plan is to get them done up in cellophane, finish writing xmas cards (and get stamps on ready to stick in the postbox in the morning), baths all round, exfoliate to within an inch of my life ready for tomorrows spraytan, then try yet again to get an earlyish night in
Nice surprise today - on the way to town tonight I saw cutie driving the other way, he didn't see me but it was still nice just to catch an unexpected glimpseMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Evening all, so finally the holidays are here :j :j A change of plan tonight though, instead of going to our works night at the pub I'm staying in, instead of the usual 50+ people going there are only about 15 going this year, most are going away on a teachers stag do for the weekend, so its a bit of a non-event tonight. Never mind, means I have ordered myself a takeaway pizza instead and will spend the evening eaither wrapping ds christmas presents or sorting my finances, not yet decided which I feel like, think it may be the finances and then do the wrapping in the morning.
Still no text from cutie ... here we go again, he's not good at this communication lark is he?? I'll give him until lunchtime tomorrow and then text him saying "still on for tonight?" and see what he replies ... hmmMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

I know I have been feeling like this too. I have been going to bed by 9 some nights unheard of for me! I think it has just been a very stressful year for many people. Really hope 2012 is better
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
