Moo. A technical question! How do you do those link things - a link to website I mean like you did in post 1031. Only just been brave enough to ask and felt it was safe enough on this threadBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Tis terribly terribly difficult.
First you find something you want to link to and copy the http://blablabla bit at the top of its page, then you highlight a word in your text by holding down your left clicky button (or right clicky button if you're a lefty) and then you click on the world and its paperclip icon (located beneath the smiley... which is to the right of the please make my text big enough to be read from outer space button) which makes a box pop up as if by magic. Copy the http bit into that and click ok.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

Soooo its almost 11pm. I got bored of housework and started sewing in ends. Thats just how bored I was. Still have a couple of dozen to go before I finish the bodice and start on the sleeves. To think I should have finished them last week and be edging them this week. Am way behind but knitting big projects is sooooooo dull. Love the finished thing but get bored far too easily. Am far happier making lots and lots of almost instant things.... which is why last weeks tea cosy is still sitting in a bag awaiting the addition of the finishing touches.
Kitchen is almost a haven of minimalist beauty. Just the floor to mop and the burnt on crud to scrape off the hob. Wish I could say the same for the rest of the house. Need to empty the carpet vac and dehair it ready to return tomorrow morning and also to minimise the likelihood of me tripping up over it in the middle of the night.
The laundry pile is 4' tall and threatening to topple at any moment. The bathroom makes me shudder. Have been emptying the carpet shampooer down the loo which resulted in the walls and floor being liberally splattered with gunk. And the corridor to the kids bedrooms is still impassible. So not much to do tomorrow then, think I'll get 4 hours grace to impersonate a human whirlwind whilsrt remebering to post a parcel, purchase milk, chicken feed, dog chow and take the stuff cluttering the dining room to the tip.
Soooo a pretty laid back day with ample time for lunch then.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
I was intending to get up early and crack on with a spot of housework but since its rapidly approaching 7am thats not going to happen. Will lob some bleach down both bogs to speed up things this afternoon but I suspect thats as good as its going to get.
Have done a pointless survery for P!necone for something that I'll never buy having told them that at the start. Still the great thing about them is they don't screen out so providing you complete the survey you get paid almost instantly which is most fabulous. Have an inbox full of surveys from other companies and zero enthusiasm to do any of them. Find it soooo tediously dull, although I do like the extra cash.
Not a clue what I'm going to end up doing at work today. I'm supposed to be cleaning all the overhead light fittings but can only do that when theres a second person in the building which is v. unlikely since I've only seen three other people at work all holiday. Spent yesterday creating things to do which I why I degunked drains and litter picked the fields and playgrounds. Suspect today will be a very long dull day.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Morning Moo
I know what you mean about surveys, so boring at times. I have a few and I can't be a**ed to even look at them. Need to though to get a few pennies in. You have done very well this week . Will you get the work finished before girls get home? I like your fish.:) I've said it before and I say it again.
