I am quite rural and have always been with BT primarily as there was no other option.
I need unlimited as i have a teenager who plays xbox live and sits on his laptop at the same time..
I also watch tv online regular and OH just surfs.
I have been on samknows and have the following info:
However, there is another service on your phone line (e.g. ADSL, LLU, DACS, etc) that would prevent you from ordering a new ADSL connection. The following services are available in your location:
The following table details the availability of LLU services at your location.
You are approximately 535 metres from the exchange. Note that this is the straight line distance - the actual cable length will be longer!
I am interested in the sky as i was going to go to freesat but if i can get a cheaper bundle and keep sky that would work for me.
Thanks

12 months ago their were around 2,500,000 Sky broadband subs.
It works well for me and customer support has improved vastly over the last year or so.
Unlimited is £15 /month without a TV subscription IIRC.(+ line rental)That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
ive been using sky broadband for about 6 months or so and not had major problems at all (unlike with our sky tv - took 10 visits from SKY/AVC to sort the problem out but thats another long story!), we had an issue on the first day broadband was activated - lost connection for about 1hour but been fine ever since.... i currently get about 5.5mb download speed and stable.0

My son has it. He has unlimited and downloads a lot of stuff. He's never had any problems in the 7 months he's had it.
If you do go for it try going through Quidco - not sure what deals they have on a the moment but I think my son got quite a bit of money back (think it was £100 but he has his phone and tv with them as well)0 -
thanks it seems so much cheaper to have a sky package deal, i was considering cancelling my sky package but with the broadband and calls comes in cheaper than i am paying bt each month so a big saving for me.Updating .................................................

I've no hesitation in recommending Sky BB. I consistently get >14Mb/sec and it's a very reliable service and of course it is unlimited.0

Sky is by far your best LLU option on that exchange. TT may be cheap, but it ain't cheerful.
You don't need to have a Sky TV sub to have Sky phone/broadband.
Your comment about 'no other option than BT' is incorrect, you also have the choice of any of the dozens of non-LLU providers reselling the BT Wholesale product, mostly cheaper and better than BT.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Sky Broadband is great, been using it for over 3 years, as soon as LLU came into my area. Currently have it bundled with Sky Talk, Sky Variety TV Pack, HD Pack and ESPN.0

same here . when we had problem they were sorted out very quick faster then we had with bt .0 -
We changed from BT to Sky earlier this year and the difference in speed is amazing. With BT there is no way I could have watched anything online but with Sky it is no problem
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS
