    Hi Flutterby

I often use a mixture of wholemeal and white flour in my BM.

    Your loaf will be fine.:)

Thanks moorhen and BB! I figured it would be but I like to have reassurance :rotfl:

    'Morning all.
Sooo happy to see the rain bucketing down, it means I don't have to feel guilty about not clearing the garden. Instead I can stay indoors and feel guilty about not cleaning the house. Welllll! a change is as good as a rest.
Bitsy: Red Ruby is quite right. Unless you grab a man's face between your hands and say very firmly that you are feeling wretched and would like a hug, they are not going to pick up on any clues. Sadly, the majority of men are incapable of reading the signs.
Have great ambitions today of reducing the ironing mountain. I quite enjoy it really. Put on a good CD, make a cup of coffee and get stuck in. HM veggie soup and rolls for lunch already organised and only a lightning dash to the Post Office to disturb my peaceful day. Lovely.
Have a good day everyone and good luck to all of you doing something special.

    Morning All,
Happy Birthday to the girls & fingers crossed for RR daughter.
DP & DS have gone to Margate to pick up a DW that I won on ebay :j so happy as the one that came with the house has been slowly giving up the ghost over the last few months. So in preperation have had a good clean out of under sink cupboard, how do the shelves get so dirty :o when you only put clean stuff in them? I have also got some bacon out to defrost & made some bread as I'm sure bacon sarnies will be appreciated when they get in. Need to dodge the raindrops & go down to the GH in a bit as Sat is tomato feeding day, but for the moment am curled up on sofa with both of the dogs & a cuppa enjoying the peace & quiet :)
Dinner tonight will be chilli & potato wedges for me & the boys & savoury mince & wedges for DD. DS is going to learn how to make chilli as his dad is going in for an op on his knee on Thurs & he is going to stay with him for a week as his carer  talk about the blind leading the blind :rotfl::rotfl:
Ooh postie has just brought me two more parcels that will be put up for :xmassmile courtesy of the grabbit board :A

Right just heard the car pull up so must away & put the kettle on.
Hope you all have a good day & that the weather doesn't spoil anything.

    Hugs, spoons & hi5's as needed x

    Good Afternoon x
Just back from MK for the second time in two days:eek: DD was in a right old state yesterday so we had to come home without getting what we needed. So back this morning with Kids Dad - straightforward!!

Washing galore but we are getting through it. I have to watch Harry Potter this afternoon as we are going to see it tomorrow at the cinema. I never saw the first one as was too poorly at the time.

Bitsy - hugs to you and really hope the party goes well x
Redruby - good luck to your DD
    Bargainbird - clever girlie xx

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    ((((loulou))))

OS update - WM been on and laundry dried on balcony despite the clouds, BM just finished (loaf looks good!), made a bit pot of veggie chilli for tea :Dand will freeze LO's, bins emptied - just need to take it down to the big bins along with some recycling in a bit. Just about to make a freezer and cupboard inventory cos I want to use up bits before I move in 3 weeks, mainly food I don't particulary like which has been hanging round for ages :rotfl:but I want it gone and won't waste anything! And I'm trying to use up all the last bits of sauces etc.

Packing update - 3 boxes done so far, 2 of DVDs and one of shoes. Also parcelled up some toilettries that I'm swapping with ladies on the No More Toilettries thread.

    Afternoon All

Happy Birthdays all round, congrats to those with good school reports and hugs for those feeling poorly.

Day started badly as I stupidly put my fingers on the electric grill element and burnt them to a cinder. Sooo much pain! Had to go to Glasgow with my fingers in huge plasters and look a right spanner, DD kept laughing cos i couldn't open my purse or cut up my lunch!!

No OS here, off out to friends tonight. Take care all. XX

The sun is out here, woo hoo, hubby is in the garden harvesting the veg, I'm in the kitchen prepping it for the freezer, so far I've done carrots, broccoli, runner beans & broad beans, I've also made some gooseberry crumbles. I'm going to put my feet up now with a glass of ginger beer.
    Hugs Hester
