When you pay, try and find a nice young male SA ;) (they are usually more voucher friendly).

The Johnsons Bodywash is £2.59 and BOGOF and both Toiletry and Beauty vouchers definately work on this, so 9p for 2 bottles

  • Hi everyone,

Popped into one of my tescos the other day (13th Jan i think) to pick up a present for my brothers bday. Found the quit packs but I couldnt find the vouchers inside. Looked for ages as im usually not so smart with these things, but still couldnt find. So picked up another, STILL could not find vouchers. Asked at CS, nice lady starts flicking through, she cant find them either, then snotty manager/supervisor woman pipes up from the other side 'its the new batch, they dont have any vouchers inside'. Both me and nice CS lady look confused, I point to the front panel 'Money Off Vouchers Inside', so she reiterates like im stupid, 'No more money off vouchers in the packs, theyre the new ones'. Nice CS appologised anyway, I just said they shouldnt say they are vouchers inside if theyre arent.

Did have a read back and couldnt find any other mention of this. Maybe im missing something?

Packets werent open or anything, but i guess they couldve removed them. I think theyre pretty hot on not letting me get my freebies at that store. Whenever i see anything on the R+R thread, the SEL and stickers have all been removed from the product in question by the time i get there.

  • they are attached to the letter inside.
Theres a booklet, a calender thingy, stickers, then a letter from Tesco if you open they are on the back!

(don't worry my OH threw away 3 packs before I saw on here there were vouchers inside!! Kept the stickers though!!)

Hit & miss day today for me got 8 lynx in my first "hit" for 16p,using a mixture of beauty & toiletries.(5 vouchers)
Then with the big shop with the missus got 4 herbal essenses for 56p using another 4 vouchers mixed, but got a load of asda & somerfield vouchers refused.(Bout £8 worth grrrrr.)These older till operators do my head in..
Then on the 3rd hit til operator another old un,was a right jobs worth & would only accept 2 x £1.25 (one of each) even called a supervisor (bi*ch) when I tried for 2 sanex,4 x lynxs & 2 johnsons,as mentioned on an earlier thread...
No young till operators @ my local today aaahhhhhhh :-(

I live to fight another day & its pay day next friday tescos,I will be back !!

Its the use of Asda and somerfield vouchers which have made tesco more stricter about taking coupons - they were hit badly over xmas with somerfield ones

Im not having a go at you, just pointing out these will be harder to use than manufactorers coupons. I wouldnt bother as all till operators have been told about accepting them and you will find it harder to use them.
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

In the Quit Kit vouchers, there's "£2 off any fitness accessories and machinery (£8 min spend)", is there anything small and useful this can be used on?

Alternatively, is there any healthy fit types who'd want mine... i've got about 5 of them doing nothing. Same for the "join tesco healthy living club FREE" ones.

Tempted to just wander around Tesco and slot them in amongst products for other customers lol

You must be like me i do this and have heard people say o'h look how useful and grab them!
