  • I used 5 x 50 points today and the self-scanner accepted them.

Although on a previous transaction of handing over 10 x 50 pointers I found only 9 were accepted

Hi, I live in Northern Ireland and there does not seem to be any Health and Beauty packs here. I would like some and would be more than happy to send a SAE.
    Thanks,
    Natasha.

    Hi Natasha,
I've looked everywhere in North Down for them- nothing anywhere! Have you tried Knocknagoney - is it an Extra? Just that someone on here said that the H&B leaflets have only been sent out to Extra stores?? I have bought a few off Ebay but would dearly love to find some without having to pay for them to boost my points before the cut off. If I do, I'll let you know.
    ;)

If your Tesco won’t usually accept more than one of each kind of coupon I would go for 2 x colgate, 2 x lynx, 2 x imperial leather shower gel.

    £10.48 before bogof/discounts, £6.36 after

    Use 2.50 and 1.00 from H&B, 1.25 beauty, 1.25 toiletry and 40p colgate from quit = credit of 4p

That’s only one of each coupon. You could try adding an extra 40p colgate, 1.25 beauty, 1.25 toiletry for total credit of 2.94

Plus as many points coupons as they will accept (should accept up to 5 as you’ve ‘spent’ £10.48 and the extra £1 off in the magazine if you can find any!

  • Does shaving gel & razor blades count as toiletries and beauty products so I can use both the Quit vouchers?

I used 2 x £1.25 on Aussie Shampoo and Conditioner. They are £2.95 each but on offer two for £4.70. So paid £2.20 for both!

I believe it is the number of items you have bought that actually restricts the use of points vouchers. For example buy 4 items - only 4x50 points accepted but buy 5 items and 5 are accepted. Not 100% sure but this seems to be the case in my experience!
