Oh I have had trouble in a metro
used my vouchers got
2*colgate toothbrush
2*colgate pump toothpaste
2*imperial leather shower gel
2*imperial leather shower cream
2*lynx shower gel
All advertised as bogof, got a few groceries too (washing liquid, a few pies )
The shower cream did not go through as bogof, supidly took cs assistant word once in store, as she had went down stairs yesterday whilst on the phone to her. got a refund. went to buy some more, I was furious to see shower cream advertised as bogof. so went back and almost dragged her down stairs (in the nicest possible way of course). got my r&r.
took other produces to the tills. now this is a city centre metro (quick), therefore I did not seperate as I normal would have. handed over coupons, he sorted out one of each and handed me them back. I explained that the woman yesterday had put more through and would he not, after all I had spent over £16 on toiletries and beauty products. gave him my Nicest freebie smile!, oh Ill get a supervisor, supervisor backed him up. Again made my point again about the woman yesterday. "oh well she is being told off about that!" totally insinuating that it was my fault this woman is getting told off.
E-mailed tesco, really did not like her insinuating attitude! The sign of a wasted life is a tidy house, Welcome to the chaos!0 -
Had an idea tonight when I took back two items. (Two days ago i had vouchers refused and was a liitle annoyed, how could they refuse my book token? jeopardizing my plan to furnish my future house for free)
Any way I spent 30 GBP (why oh why do i not have a pound sign). Paid for this with 9 GBP coupons leaving a total of 21 GBP.
Today I returned two items and received 24 GBP back,
The result Free shopping, plus 3GBP for shopping there.
Now the idea, well has anyone used the 6 quid off clothing in the QP? if you buy something and it doesnt fit, then you can get a refund.....
Might have to buy a free items, so the 6 quid is not obvious and use cash???
Is this in the spirit of money saving?_____________________________________________

Yep, been there, done that, plan to buy the t-shirt next time!!
Last week I bought £52 worth of clothing, including 2 pairs of £18 men's trousers for my teenage son (in 2 diff waist sizes, I knew I would be taking one pair back). I used one £6 off from QK, one £10 off clothing (blue, bought on ebay, think they come from Pigsback or summat?) one £6 off (blue) and one £5 off (blue).
I also bought a fair bit of other shopping and used some manufacturers' coupons so my £90-odd total went down to £50-odd.
Then this week, at another Extra, I returned the non-fitting pair of £18 trousers along with some £5 pjs I had changed my mind on. So getting another £23 off the £50 I had paid (the same receipt also includes a £14 DVD that I may return with 28 days too if I really want to push it....;) ).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've also done this loads of times. I've been getting the £35 jumper using as many of the clothes vouchers I could get away with, and then returning the jumper next time. I used to feel guilty mind, but don't anymoreNow thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0

Do they not mention the fact that you paid with coupons?Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -
I take clothes back to the clothes section and not to the CS desk. They never ever bother to look at the bottom of the receipt at the vouchers bit, & even if they did it just says £6 off coupon used. I don't always use my Tesco card thoughNow thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0

groping around the H & B section in a futile hunt for quit kits yesterday, noticed what I thought was one behind some nicotinell packs on the normal shelving. Yippee , it was just the letter and voucher page!. Got me two almost free shower gels.
Anyway if you cant find any, try this, you never know.
Also asked employee, she went off and said that they would be getting more in and that they would be in a pile on CS desk (this was tesco tower park).
None of our stores round here have a pharmacy and havent found any h & B vouchers at all.0
