thanks for this - went to go up the shop and completely forgot which magazine I was meant to be buying :rolleyes: will go up again, (still it's a good bit of exercise for me)

I've just been to Tesco near me and bought 2 Herbal Essences shampoos on BOGOF (£2.78 each) I gave the checkout teenager the 2 £1.25 vouchers and neither worked, both bleeped. Anyone got any ideas why?

sometimes if the SA does not press a button to scan the vouchers, none will be accepted. Did you use any other vouchers ?

Otherwise I'm not sure - I went tescoing today and left my purse in the office - so didn't get to use my vouchers

Did you use any other vouchers? Sometimes it's a simple case of the checkout operator not pressing the 'total' button before scanning the vouchers!

Toothpaste (I think!)
Herbal Essences shampoo & conditioner
Carex Handwash
Colgate toothbrushes
Lynx Showergels
Johnson showergels

I bought 4 herbal essence and both the 1.25 vouchers worked, I also bought 2 colgate and used 2 40p off vouchers and all 4 worked.

Perhaps the till is recognising that you have not spent over £5, although this has not been the case on other products.

I was just checking my slimfast shakes and discovered amongst the plastic storage boxes a different flavour to my usual, strawberry, banana and chocolate.

It is "cafe' classic" I didn't purposely pick up that flavour but Mr Welshy quite likes it and it will make a change tomorrow lunch-time. Checking my receipts the slimfast discounts have all come off so its on offer too and it's another flavour to look out for in store.

i noticed with the herbal essences that there is one conditioner in the range which is 2.21 in my local (fine hair) and so buying the 2.78 one with it made it 4.99, luckily enoughi had bought 3 of the more expensive so all the vouchers worked HTH
