I'm leaving my job for another offer so without sounding arrogant, I have done well, but I can proudly and firmly say there is not one single lie in my CV. What's the point? Just build up great experience and you shouldn't have to lie.

I've never needed to lie either. The main reason I wouldnt lie, apart from the fact I dont need to, would be why would I want to get myself into a job I was not suitable for?

I wouldnt want to be floundering in an interview or job because I'd lied in my cv.

When I've in interviewed people I ask plenty of stuff about what theyve written in their cv. Surely if youve lied you could easily trip yourself up?

but the majority of CVs have lies in them.

and that includes people who've done really well and managed to get a job.

I have no lies on mine, in fact I have taken work off it in certain roles so I dont look too qualified

I applied online, didn't even need to leave the house.

Popped down there after the job offer to drop in my ID etc.

Agencies in accounts will not put you forward unless you have registered with them and when you have no money to do so and the job centre don't support you that's the hard part

Why can't you register if you have no money? It's not like it costs anything other than the cost of getting there

there are no lies on my cv, if there are lies on your cv you should take them off because i would think any employer could spot them a mile off, just make a good point of the skills and experience you have got

honesty is always the best policy otherwise you will come unstuck somewhere down the line

a lie to say I cant do something instead of saying or making up that I can? Ok fine bt then I am still OVER QUALIFIED, what do you suggest I do? Put it all back on the CV and be over over qualified?
