Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Im up for renewal on my orange contract and found this site through topcashback. Has anyone had any dealings with them? I must say their deals to seem very good if they are to be believed.
Anybody any advice please. Thanks

Suggest you do a search on them ...there are those who think they are the bees knees and others like me that think that they are the worst company on earth :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

If things go right you end up with a cheap deal ...the catch is if something goes wrong it's an absolute monumental task to get it sorted if you ever can ;)

Speaking of which the other half has had 3 phone calls in the last few days saying that it's O2 and that her contract is up for renewal ( which it is ) and they can sort a deal out.
I've done a search this morning on the number that rings 01509 553081 ...turns out it's not O2 at all, but this bunch of cowboys ....total lies to start with and not even got as far as them promising anything

They are a part of CPW and I have done a cashback deal with them successfully.
But do make sure to read all the terms and conditions if u r going for a cashback deal.

They're fine. Just know that once you buy your phone, you're on your own. Once they have you money, they don't care. Exactly the same as Phones4u, Carphone Warehouse, e2save and Onestopphoneshop.

They seem to have improved a lot lately, my last dealings with them was with 'automatic cashback', and I received it within one month of the purchase date.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just keep on top of them and don't let them get on top of you.
Suits me, because I like to get on top. :o:o

Actually, I think they have improved and I have two contracts with them now and hope will take another two as they come to an end.
I prefer e2save (same CPW group), but mobiles.co.uk online system for submitting bills does actually work now, just done a couple and they normally pay within 3 weeks. Actually had comfirmation again yesterday for one.

Put in the effort and reap the rewards.

I wouldn't bother going through TopCashBack for them, especially if the phone you want is free. I've been trying to get my £50 from them since August with no luck so far.

Delivery of my phone took 2 working days (ordered on a Thurs afternoon, received phone Monday morning) rather than their stated next day delivery.

On the plus side, I submitted my first bill for cashback a couple of months ago and received my cheque a couple of weeks later without any issues

Interesting; I'm also still chasing an untracked £50 from TCB from September. TCB have messed up their communications with me - ambiguous and contradictory replies, but one of those did say they had a problem with a batch of purchases from that time. Not good enough - but I would still use them (better than the alternatives).

HOWEVER, I would strongly advise against the gung-ho recommendations of jumping into any cashback deal based on SOME good experiences. Anyone contemplating any such deal should do a LOT of homework and ensure they know and UNDERSTAND what they're doing BEFORE they do it. CPW companies have a distinct history of suddenly trying to ignore their own t&c, rewrite them from one day to the next (or at least try to) AND denying/ignoring legitimate claims. Whilst all may appear to be "better" now they have gone from great to awful at the drop of a hat (or change of person in charge) in the past - so if you don't follow the groundrules (and not simply their t&c) you may end up playing Russion roulette. 18 or 24 months is a LONG time in this game.

From what the OP has said they have done virtually NO research apart from stumbling across the deals and ealer - and relying on asking questions on here is absolutely no substitute for proper and substantial research.

May I make a gung-ho recommendation and say that anyone who can keep track of time and dates is capable of doing cashbacks and using Topcashback/Quidco.

You always do and always will - having a long track record of defending this dealer even from they were definitely not so "generous" as they have been of late. Anyone is "capable" - it doesn't and never has meant they succeed in getting their money back, as the long line of unhappy CPW customers (including all those who have ended up suing as well as those greater numbers who will have given up) shows (for those who do care to research cpw companies and cashback contracts).

It's easy to encourage when it isn't your money at stake. I believe you used to do the same before you'd ever actually used this dealer.

Scuze moi but I was not defending anyone - I was commenting regarding cashbacks and how easy it can be if you are good with keeping track of things.

Its people's money and they can do what they like with it - I am not telling them to throw it away.
