Help with XBOX 360/Internet

I used to use Internet Connection Sharing through my PC for Xbox Live but I much prefer a direct connection now. I figured a hole in the wall and a £5 cable would be cheaper than the wireless adapter option

Anyways, if any of you guys are still having problems setting up XBL through ICS or bridging then this is a nice guide for you:

well mines connected to the modem, thats why i mentioned the modem but yes connecting to the pc will work

Thanks everyone!

I simply plugged in the crossover cable (£2 inc P&P EBAY) from Xbox 360 to PC, made the 'bridge' connection & everything then worked OK!

In fact, the hardest bit was then having to set up the 'live' account on Xbox (Had to put personal details in twice as setting up for child)

Anyway, just wanted to say THANKS!!!:T :T :T

note that if your are bridging you could be banned from Xbox Live.
