OK Cracked It!!!
So you wanna connect a PC with WifI to your 360? Heres how?
*Plug ethernet cable supplied with 360 into PC/Laptop and into 360
*In network connections highlight your Wifi connection and LAN port connection
*Right Click bridge connections - takes a minute
*In Xbox dashboard go to sytem>network>test connection
et voila the 360 is now using your PC/Laptop's Wifi

Hi, I've clicked on Network Connections, right clicked my wireless connection & then clicked on Bridge, just get an error message stating 'To create a Network Bridge, you must select at least two LAN or high speed Internet connections that are not being used by Internet Connection Sharing'frestuffwooo wrote:OK Cracked It!!!

Hi, I successfully did that but, when I then tried to go back & test the Xbox settings, it is still failing on the IP test.
I then lost my internet connection! Have had to use system restore to get my connection back!
I guess I must be doing something wrong!0 -
Make sure you are using a crossover ethernet cable, otherwise the Xbox wont be able to talk to the PC no matter what you do to the settings. If you don't have any joy then I could possibly pop up and sort it for you, just pay my petrol

Thanks everyone.
What is a crossover ethernet cable? I am just using the standard one which originally came with my router?0 -

The cable that comes with a router is a standard ethernet cable - i.e. same connections at both ends of the cable.
A crossover cable is an ethernet cable where the wires are "crossed-over" and therefore each end is different. You need this kind of cable to go "like-to-like" - e.g. an ethernet card on your PC to an ethernet card on the xbox.0
