It's better to know than not know Flower, because what does that achieve? Are you able to stay on top of it or is it still growing?

No not growing, it is going down....albeit very slowly. Just very depressing to see it in black and white. You're right though we needed to know figures, at least now we can see how much is being paid off etc..

I agree that you do need to know the figures but maybe in future you should leave that kind of job til the morning so that you can have a good night's sleep. I know I don't sleep through worry quite often. Hope you did manage to get some sleep

Hope you got some sleep Flower, you are getting somewhere with it even if it is slow. Is hard when you are having to pay for baby things etc at the same time.

Morning all, just choked on my cup of tea looking at those tattoos, don't know which was more...unique! At least the to do list is practical I suppose, the Golden Girls one was just slightly freaky!

Flower, hope you managed to get some sleep in the end. As others have said, that feeling of STILL having the debt there can really get you down sometimes, but hopefully you feel a bit more positive this morning for getting it in black and white and taking another step forward.

I updated my sig yesterday and the debt has gone up by around £800 due to booking a holiday, driving lessons and moving house, I was kicking myself a bit as those things could have waited, but the flip side is that they have already been put on hold for years while I got the debts under control and I know I am continuing to work hard to get rid of them all together. Its great that we all push ourselves hard for 90% of the time but I think its more than ok to give yourself a break the other 10%. (Although I wouldn't class my driving lessons as a break, more of a meltdown! I hate them! :p)

No tattoos to declare here, I wanted one for a long time but, like Dinah, am too fickle and couldn't make my mind up, really glad now as I'm sure I'd have got something ridiculous that the 'mature' me would've hated! I do have my tongue pierced however which always surprises people for some reason.

Sorry to see that your debt has gone up a bit Starnac, it doesn't look like you've been frittering it all away on silly things though so it's not too bad. There's only so long you can put some things off for! :)

I'm sooooo blinkin' glad it's Friday! Really looking forward to 4.30 and getting outta here! :D

    Morning all,
Thank you for the kind words! Lay awake until about 1am with figures running through my head, but once I was asleep I slept like a log - which makes a change seen as though I usually have to get up for the toilet at least 4 times a night!
Did have some very strange dreams though, including going on the Jeremy Kyle show :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about the debts going up or barely moving :( We're in some new found debt too. £320. OH needs new tyres on his car - all four changing. They have zero grip on dry so I've been worrying about him in all this bloody rain. They're coming out and changing them tomorrow, and his card is 0% for 12 months anyways - not that they'll be on there for that long. Still, I'm trying to loosen us up a lot moneywise. Bar the challenge, focus less on saving, more on doing. Saying that, even though we have the money I'm currently talking myself out of buying this. Although I did try buying this (in a ladies cut!) this morning but had my card declined cause it's a tiny electron :(

Glad you slept okay once you drifted off Flower! Was anyone else just freezing last night? For the first time in ages I got into bed and it was cold!

Saw this photo though and thought it was quite relevant to the tattoo talk yesterday!

Having a super lazy morning, have the pooches sleeping on me or next to me. Watching cartoons and just about to roll Percy (he weighs 2 stone! I'm now on a 'lose a Percy' diet!) off my knee so I can get ma hair did. Got a sexy little cap to put on which makes me resemble the lone avatar. Hoping no one comes to the door, not because I actually look like a Ralph-part with it on but I don't yano, want them to be floored by my current good looks.

Glad you got some sleep Flower.

Anyone got any nice plans this weekend? We are going to southampton and going out for a meal tomorrow for friends birthday. Slightly worried as leaving Poppy with my mum and she still won't have a bottle. We won't be gone that long but hope my mum doesn't have to put up with screaming. She says she doesn't mind though bless her.
