(no, I'm not joining:D)!
Boo! Hiss!
It actually shocked me when I read your DFD was April 2009. It's kind of crazy to think we've all been posting on here, talking with each other for maybe pushing 3 years??
Making a meal plan today for the first time in months. We tend to just play by ear considering we've got just about everything in, but I got this recipe book for my Birthday, and really want to try some of the recipes. Waiting in this morning for my Topshop order, so I'm going to brave going food shopping with my Zus this afternoon. I'm kind of regretting one TS purchase - white jeans  But my reasoning was; Kate Middleton wears them. But I honestly forgot she's a twig and I'm a loaf of milk roll in comparison.0 -
Yey off the first page - I feel a lot less exposed. I keep doing a headcount, trying to work out if we've lost anyone in the move.
Hi Shrimpy, great to have you, I'm glad we've been entertaining you. You're now on the list so no lurking again.
Kavics - now theres a name I remember well. Sorry we move so fast love, keeps us awake at work!
Oooh Cinny, sprinting into the lead. Are you saving for anything in particular or just to boost the pot?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I had a strange dream last night that involved me, Birdie, Dinah and NIM haha. We for some reason lived in a house together and NIM went off to look at some artefacts or something and me and Dinah gave Birdie an engagement present which was basically a load of random tat in a box and she is already married so thats confusing haha. Then there was a mouse living in the sofa.... either i am losing the plot or spending too much time on here!
Anyway hi to everyone, will have a look and choose my ticker.0 -
Hello everyone and thank you for the lovely welcome
Cinny, I'm super impressed with your speediness off the starting blocks, hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew taking on a challenges with such seasoned DFWs!
I had just started paying my debt when you finished Dinah, which makes the fact that it was April 2009 even more scary for me. What have I been doing all that time?
Am supposed to be on leave from work this week but had to come in today to sort some payroll stuff, so sure I will find a minute (or several) to sort out a ticker, if I can remember how to do it. Have some MS booked for tomorrow to get me started, on the subject of which, I could do with picking your brains on good companies NIM if you didn't mind? I'm signed up with a fair few but jobs seem to be sparse, and the amount you manage to pick up is pretty staggering!Barclaycard [STRIKE]£7,296.35[/STRIKE] £6134.99 - MBNA [STRIKE]£4,182.88[/STRIKE] £3267.08 - O/draft [STRIKE]£569.31[/STRIKE] £413.59 - Capital One [STRIKE]£1477.55[/STRIKE] £1451.44Total debt [STRIKE]£12048.54[/STRIKE] £11267.10 6% paid0 -
It is mad how long we've all known each other now! Like I was saying the other day, I talk to you girls more than my other friends out in the real world!
Is that book an attempt to wean your OH off meat Cinny?!
The last time I owned white jeans was 1996 and I thought I looked awesome! I've love to be able to wear them but I attract chocolate so it'll never work out, everything I own gets at least a little speck of melted Dairy Milk on it, even when I've not had any! Sooooo.... white jeans are out for me! I did buy some white denim shorts with pink and purple flowers on for my hollibobs though, I tried them on again last week and had a little panic about my jiggly thighs, need to get some squatting done before we go!

That dream doesn't sounth that far fetched Wendz!
I'm not sure being a seasoned dfw is a good thing! Firstly we can't be doing it right to be here this long, and secondly we've already done all of the new offers, sign up bonuses, sold everything butthe cat etc, and have to resort to busking to get some pennies in!
NIM is out tonight taking a huge bush out my parents front garden so they can put a monkey puzzle tree in which someone has given them. It strikes fear into my heart when on the way to work he says 'oh no, I forgot my clothes to change into, my crowbar, pick axe AND the electric drill' - I hav enever, ever used any of these things to do the gardening and I feel like there should be adult supervision over him and my dad to make sure they don't injure themselves.
Didn't need an alarm to wake me up this morning for the Next VIP sale - kitten helpfully decided to wake us up by throwing up under the bed at 6am. Didn't get that much in the end, loads has sold out since yesterday, only 1 pair of trousers for NIM, a few bedding sets (but not curtains I was really after), the bathroom cabinet had gone which is a shame as ours looks so cluttered, got me a few bits for work as I nly have 1 proper pair of trousers, but in all honesty there is nothing I'm really excited to see arrive. However I am proud that I didn't order anything frivolous, I stuck to the list of things we need and that was that. Real shame so little of what we need was available. One skirt I love was only available in maternity - was sorely tempted to get it anyway as it's jersey so it would fit me after a big lunch never mind a bump!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ooh speaking of sign up offers, I got something in the post from Amazon saying that if I sign up to a free Love Film trial they'll send me a £20 Amazon voucher. I think it's a fairly generic code so might work for everyone if anyone wants to give it a go (I'll check the letter at lunchtime to make sure!)? Must remember to sign up tonight/tomorrow so I can get my voucher!
I've stayed well away from Next, feeling very smug! Although I was in Fat Face last night and mentally spent £40... might have to sweet talk my Mum tonight so she'll donate the funds to Birdie's Holiday Clothes Cause!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Make sure you cancel the trial in plenty of time or you get tied into paying for the next month. I did the trial and ended up liking it so still have lovefilm hehe.0

I'll make sure I do that! I did a trial a couple of years ago and surprised myself by actually remembering to cancel in time, but in my old name, old bank details, old address and old e-mail address so I should get away with it again
Getting married and changing your name does have it's uses!

I know, I'm planning to try to do all the matched betting sign up offers again in the new name and address, I'm like a whole new person.
Brought my tablet in to work to show it off as a few people are thinking of buying one, and because NIM had it last it hasn't been charged and the battery is dead! Grrrr!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
