It's called Sleep Talk, Shrimpy. OH has always said I talk in my sleep, I thought he was just winding me up. It was really weird, but I want it to be tomorrow morning already so I can listen in again :rotfl:
I heard the big spiders are because of the weather this summer, there were more bugs so more are still kicking about. I counted we've had 7 in the past monthUgh! I feel your pain about the one on your bag though. What is it about spiders?! It's hardly like they're going to kill us!
My Sister keeps telling me 'they're more scared of you than you are of them." Oh, REALLY?! Then why on earth do they seem intent on running at me full speed if they're so gosh darn scared.0 -
I heard on the radio this morning how to rid the house of spiders, thought of you lot. Apparently they hate the smell of conkers, so go round some up this weekend, and hide them around the house (under sofas, beds, behind the telly and sink etc).Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ahh, I do the conkers thing! It really does work. I left my little bedroom bowl of them at home last year, really need to go grab some more. Tea Tree oil works too, I sprinkle it around like holy water before I work out - I have a horrible mental image of being half way through plank jacks or something, and having one run up my arm. Oh lord!
Shrimpy - You'll have to let us know if there's anything funny!I told OH he's having it on his side of the bed tonight to get him, but he's being a mardy moo and says no. Pssh!

Everyone get to Crowdity! They have a free discount card today which gets discounts at most high street stoes, including 4% off at Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys - it lasts a year but sounds fantastic if it works.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Shame Birdie will miss out, I know she's always saying about how much food costs with how her Mister cooks! And with all the parties she has too.0 -
Just joined. Is it one of these where you buy the vouchers at discount? Could do with saving some money on shopping.0

Got up ridiculously early today for a driving lesson...which hasn't happened because his car wont start this morning. So spending the time wisely and working out gifts I'm getting people for Christmas. Think I might go and get most of it on Thursday, then I won't have to worry!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
I don't know how it works to be honest, hoping it's a case of just handing over a discount card at the checkout, although it does say it works on fuel too - which would be fantastic. Only save us about £12 a month, but hey, that's a lovely £12 to have.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
