Hope you're looking after yourself Dinah! Looks like you've made good headway on your list though :)

I bet Birdie is having such a good time! Can't wait to hear about when she gets back. I hope you're having an amazing honeymoon too Lara!

The Boots Christmas stuff is out already?! Seems early, but I love it so I don't mind. I usually love Christmas shopping, but I am quite relieved to be giving it a miss this year!

Urgh I hate these big spiders so much! Don't know how I'm going to cope in Australia. :(

I've been having ski lessons, and today the instructor said I don't need lessons anymore cuz I'm good enough! My first thought was :j but then I realised 'awh, no more lessons with the cute instructor' :( gutted haha. It's the mutual friend's wedding on Saturday so I'm hoping I look good for ex-OH's benefit.. :A

  • *Whoooosh*... thats NIM and Cinnys wrestling talk flying over my head :D

I'm with your wimpy other halves, spiders are terrifying!

Ooh Zig that sounds fun, my skier friends bought me one lesson for my birthday but I didn't make much progress. How many did you have? Enjoy the wedding!

I'm ignoring all the christmas talk! Though will put some of my challenge money aside to start saving on payday. Thanks to whoever suggested the mccain thing, I'm giving it a go :)

Good work on the list Dinah, how is the court thing going?

Not a very exciting weekend here but did some mass sorting out, my bf was a gem as I've been procrastinating over it since I came home from uni. So my October goals are going to be to sell some of the bits I no longer want and also get thinking about my next job I think.

Every girl needs a good rucksack! It's the most important part!

Been researching trips to Rome. Haven't been away this year yet and after all the stress I really need something to look forward to. OH said about taking me to Prague again for my birthday which in a way I would like because we might be able to fit in a wedding planner meeting at the same time :j But I also really want to go to Rome. Found a really nice hotel with flights for £256 for 2 nights, which isn't too bad and the hotel is really close to a lot of important sights and good transport links too. Just got to convince OH that it would be nice to go somewhere different!

Hi everyone. Sorry for not posting for a while but quite despondent at the moment as we found out last week that the local council won't be funding the charity I work at beyond March and there's a real possibility that it'll have to close in the next few months as a result. We've got a petition going, which needs a lot more signatures! Won't post the link here but PM me if anyone wants to add their signature. Completely understand if you don't though seeing as you don't actually know me! Hope things are better for the rest of you ... not had chance to read the thread except in dribs and drabs as I'm flat out with trying to help the charity and fitting my freelance stuff in. Will try to get back into posting more regularly again - so out the loop with you all!

ETA - Wow, didn't realise I was over the 1000 posts mark!

Please PM me the petition link DippyKitty, I can't work out how to do PMs on my phone.

Does anyone remember Bailey who used to post on here, can't remember the full username. The lady who was in the himalayas or similar teaching and then got married? Just seen on facebook she's due her first baby :)

Hi DK! I thought you were someone from MSE but I couldn't remember who. I tried to sign it on my phone last night, just signed it now :)

Rome sounds lovely, Ruby! I'm sure you'll be able to convince him to go :D

Sorry Archers! But mention wrestling and I'm no longer in control of my mouth. Or fingers, in this case. OH pointed out it's just over a month until we go see RAW live. To which I yelled 'WOOWOOWOO!' which, perhaps, was a little over the top for 6:30am.

Has anyone else heard of that sleep app for the iPhone that records you if you talk at night? I heard of it from Radio1, so I used it last night and inbetween OH coughing, I talk a fair bit. It's so weird! :o We were listening to them this morning and I start talking in what sounds dutch mixed with Sim talk. I'm not sure if I like it! Then mainly I just hum! What!

I was wondering about her the other day Dinah, that's lovely news! Send her congrats from me if she doesn't come on here at all anymore :)

    Morning all,

Glad the travelling preperations are coming along Zig!

Ruby - Rome sounds really lovely , hope you can convince your OH.

Dippy - will PM you for the link. Hope you manage to get all the signatures you need.

Yes I remember Bailey, aww that is such lovely news.

How weird about the app Cinny. OH and I both talk in our sleep so that would be weird to listen to.

Not much news here apart from i have 12.75 in my account today from a survey site. 2 days till payday boo.

Morning everyone, hope you're all well.

After our spider talk yesterday, a truly humungous spider crawled out from under my desk this morning and onto the strap of my bag, I was rigid with fear! Somehow I managed to run outside with the bag at arms length and shake him off but I was whimpering hysterically the entire time, and there was no one around to come to my rescue! I'm not normally too bad with spiders (from a distance) but this guy was ginormous! Ugh, making me shudder just thinking about it!

What's the app called Cinny? OH comes out with some crackers in his sleep but always thinks I've made it up when I tell him! Apparently I just grunt :o

I have £60 to add to the challenge, refunded from various bills following the move and split with OH. (As in I split the profits with him, not took the money and run!) Am not doing too well on the money front but gave myself a bit of a talking to so hopefully will get back on track now.

Dippykitty I have pm'd you for the link, sorry to hear your news :(
