All of my information, credit accounts, searches, past addresses are available on Noddle. For free. I'm well impressed with Noddle, it shows me everything I need to know.

    CE wanted £14.99 a month.

    Very "Moneysaving"... :rotfl:

Yeah CE is pointlessly expensive, but why would ANYONE want to review their credit file on a monthly basis?

Errors are very infrequent - am surprised ppl think their credit file will be riddled with inaccurate information!
    Friendly greeting!
  • Yeah but if you check your £2 report a few months before and there is fraud what's the difference? It's not like the lenders won't sort it out because you aren't on credit expert. If you check the £2 reports twice a year that is more than enough. if it was free even better then check as much as you want.

The best bit is you pay them to make their data more accurate. They then get paid to supply this data to their customers. there is no justification in charging a fee to view YOUR credit report.

That's not the best, according to the DFW board, when poor in debt saps plonk their details into these sites, Experian sell their details to debt collectors.

So some poor sod joins up and pays, then Excreasian flog their details and then try and sell them a shonky loan through their "credit expert" service so they end up even more in debt :rotfl:

  • That's not true at all is it? The two services are very different indeed.

Exactly. And Noddle being free gave me the exact same information I had seen on CE, Experian and Call Credit, in one place. For nowt. I'm waiting for some defaults to drop off my file, and not paying £14.99 a month to check that they've come off is even better :D

£2 is the maximum you should be paying to see this stuff.

Another reason I hate these scoundrels!

Still, they need to pay for their ice from the sea of tranquillity somehow :rotfl:

Dan - what about someone who is waiting for adverse credit history to fall off, or waiting for accounts to show as settled?

I would agree however that a £2 statutory report is sufficient.

I admit I'm a control freak so I like to see the information, but I don't need to any wouldn't pay for it.
I have all 3 for free now :-)

how do you get all 3 free?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
