Hurdler's Race to be Mortgage-Free

When will you find out hon?
Glad all is going well :j
But it is a great feeling to be writing for my living now. I only wish I had more time - we were both at a conference in Manchester and I might get some private work but I asked to wait until after this wretched diploma is done.
As for shorthand ... I am actually going to abandon any sports writing opportunities and spend a couple of days a week at the full-timers' shorthand classes although they are all irritiatingly young and very very loud. But at least I can guarantee a couple of days of 3 hours of nothing but shorthand. I did some every 45 mins yesterday while writing for the day job and began to see a small improvement so it is getting there.
I think I just need to accept that for the next 6 weeks I am going to have live, eat, sleep and breathe all things NCTJ and just get to the finish line ...- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

God I was so relieved I almost burst into tears.
Now REALLLLLLLY hoping I did the same with Sport Reporting.
Waiting for some confirmation, but I may have some terrific sports writing news also.
Need to write my behind off for my day job so that I can try and get my features written.
Shorthand eludes me still. HATE them squiggles!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033
