I do mine with 100g (when the scales say so!) of flour, 100ml of milk, 1 egg, sliced up bacon, fried, a generous dollop of minced ginger and a wodge of finely shredded cabbage.
Generous shake of worcester sauce on each side while frying and voila - a complete meal!

Damn my over-active mind... wide awake after the usual school drink-up... although didn't stay as late as normal...
Saved a bit of money getting the bus back rather than the train!
I have just ONE MORE WEEK left at work, although I will be spending 2 days at a conference ...
Just 5 days and possibly the worst working decision I have ever made in my life will be over! OK that's not fair - with this role I have been able to contribute far more to my mortgage and sort out a lot of household purchases ahead of my career change.
I do feel a little disturbed that my accountant seems to be very reluctant to converse at the moment - I am pretty sure you shouldn't feel like you don't want to bother them when you have questions.
A friend at journo school suggested an online accountancy that offers the nifty advantage of telling you exactly when and what you need to file and calculates exactly what you can take out of the company as dividends... BUT it is quite expensive but does absolutely everything for you.
So I am going to see if I can arrange a meeting for next Monday with my accountant and if I get the brush off, then I am going to go for this online firm and for the first 6 months at least, I am going to use some of my VR money to tide me over.
I did a to do list that is pretty damned daunting today - going to work in 45 min stretches with 15 min faff in between... I have left-over Remoska-casserole and dumplings for Sunday dinner, yum!
Have a great Sunday every one!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

WOW what a week, my last of full time employment, before IT freelance writing work!
Monday: My manager told me last week that he could only chat on Monday (before I leave) as he is (apparently) in Helsinki this week.
Monday came and went. No call. No Instant Message on the work system. Nowt.
Monday Evening - Journo school and I did my FIRST 100wpm transcription. Ummm 55/200 words wrong (to pass we need no more than 9!!!). Some work to do there then, huh!
Monday MORNING... on my Twitter feed - was a request ... could I go to Wimbledon (squeeee) to cover the Spring Press Conference ahead of The Championships. As you can imagine, the answer was a resounding HELL YES!!!
Tuesday: My manager had "allowed" me to shoot across to the Service Desk and IT Support Show (no really, STOP yawning at the back there). So I was able to cut across from Earls Court to Southfields for the presser, and the free lunch in The Champions Room!!!
I introduced myself to Neil Harman who is the Tennis writer for The Times, and also to the people who wrote for thetennisspace.com. I had planned to approach the editor with a note next week... upshot is... he contacted me and I am meeting him next Monday to see about contributing, content managing and generally getting work experience there!
Then I had to run BACK to the technical show where I met my new boss/client... before heading to school for "Remedial" Match Reporting for the Chelsea/Barca debacle.
Queue lots of writing - I filed my article with the help of a Tall Caramel Latte in Starbucks Wimbledon, before grabbing the car I left in the £5 off street carpark, drove to school where we all (but one) failed the first half filing because somehow we thought Messi scored... and had to change our stories AGAIN thanks to the Ramires goal!
Two school nights in a row AND the adrenalin and excitement of the Wimbledon Press Conference experience made Rozzie a tired girl!
Wednesday: Day 2 at the show, and I met the new editor that my new boss/client has brought on board, who advised me to ditch my logo from my professional twitter as I am not a brand! So I did... (Let's face it... if an editor gives you some advice for free - you take it!)
Today (Thursday): After two days of endless walking, and lugging about a netbook and iPad (TOTALLLLLY putting those through the business)... I ACHE TO PIECES!
That and the large glass of port I had means I have been on a go slow today, although I have turned out a draft press release for a Linked In contact and need a coffee before I try my luck at asking HMRC for advice!
I am waiting for the cleaners to arrive... and while they are here I will try and sort out a bunch of articles...
I have stuff prepared to make some Mauritian snacks for my colleagues in Watford tomorrow... but in truth I intend to leave as soon after lunch as I can - especially as my much reduced paypacket arrived yesterday so that means I should have some money in May to tide me over...
My firm request to the accountant has resulted in a meeting late Tuesday afternoon... so I will see how he is.
I really don't think I am being unreasonable in asking some key questions about how my pre-trading expenses will stack up against projected "profit" so that I can figure out what I can take as dividends.
I want to do a lot of the filing myself, but again feel it is OK to ask for help in the early stages, no?
Anyway - if he behaves in any kind of irritated way I will move to the other firm even if they are expensive.
Like I said... WHAT. A. WEEK!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Wow! Exciting stuff going on here. Congratulations on making such great progress with your new business before you have even ditched your old job
Hmm IT support and service desk extravaganza or Wimbledon - decisions, decisions :rotfl:0 -
Thanks Dawn - I am pretty sure that my manager has been checking out my linked profile because I keep seeing Anonymous Linked In User appearing ... I bet he thinks I am going to slag him and the company off!

And FREEEEEEEEE!
Last day today, Linked In all done, Interview for tennis work experience on Monday... and just about to crack open the wine and scan articles I have written to take in for my portfolio.
And for those keeping score... no my manager never called me to chat after I submitted my resignation!- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033

Well in keeping with the reputation of a hardened press hack (hmm perhaps that word is NOT the best!)... I am making inroads into a decent bottle of Blossom Hill white... and trying to sort out a rough cut of my portfolio for tomorrow.
This is not going terribly well as the win glass is obscuring my icons on my toolbar on the PC...- Mortgage @ March 2008: £194,965 ; Lightbulb Moment: July 2011: £164,926; End Date: March 2033
