The tax credit renewal thread merged.

Recently all threads that were posted regarding tax credit renewals have been automaically merged into one thread. This may well be easier for the board guides to keep an eye on the thread but for the posters who are posting looking for help/advice on their renewals it is not so good.....
Most of the posts which are made asking for help are going unanswered whereas if they had been made starting a thread of their own they would have received many more responses.
I dont think the merged thread is actually benefitting the people who are asking for help (I thought that is what this site was all about....)
I understand that there are certain posters who always repond to new posters by saying "this question has been asked a million times before...didnt you do a search before asking?" but we are not all like that!
I think that individual questions should be allowed again to allow the new posters to get the help they come here searching for!

Hi
I'm not aware of this. Could you post the link here so I can make sure we're looking at the thread you're talking about?
Thanks!

Hi Andrea . Sorry I dont know how to link a thread but it has been made into a sticky at the top of the benefits board and is headed "tax credit renewals - general questions merged".
It just seems that every day there is a new poster posting a question and no-one seems to be answering whereas I feel if they were allowed to remain as indvidual posts as they used to lots of people would try to help. The loopy one has gone :j0 -

Have to agree I don't bother with that thread at all.
I admit that I try to answer any queries that I am familiar with but I still think that a lot of new posters are missing out because they are posting in the "sticky" thread.
You are quite knowledgable DX2 , maybe you could pop up there and see what advice you can offer lol.The loopy one has gone :j0 -
I think it's a good idea to have them in one thread so people can ask in the same place and great that you're helping out so much on there no-oneknowsme, thank you!
You're right, I think we need to round up a few more people to read it and try to answer.
If they can be pursuaded that would be great. Unfortunately we can't force people though!Could you do with a Money Makeover?
