DP been slating his family for being out drinking all the time, blatent alcoholics the ones he has been on about, drink daily and regularly in large amounts, then today decides to go out all day with them, not the first time this month.
Sorry to me Boxing Day the kids wanting him to play with them and their new things as we spent most of yesterday dashing about and he's been out since the pub opened.
Told the youngest he'd be a couple of hours when he asked him, and me, which I and they didn't mind, but all day, evening, and maybe until god knows when tomorrow, is annoying me. Also asked me to pick him up, so I changed what I was going to do and just stayed in with the kids waiting for his call, while the hours ticked by and by 6pm said didn't know if he was coming back today, hasn't even took keys so if he comes back he'll wake me up, sorry it's annoyed the hell out of me and I needed a rant.
I'm not a big drinker, I haven't for over a year, was going to have a glass of wine on Christmas day with family, but he ended up drinking Vodka at a friends and threw the car keys at me, so I couldn't.
Kids upset, dinner wasted that I had got out, grrrr!!!!

I have the children, won't touch a drop with them in the house in my care, something I feel very strongly about, and no wine in either unfortunately even if there was someone else here to stay sober. Thanks for the suggestion and replying, just needed to get it off my chest. One day I might be more organised...........

i would just tell him you've had a couple of glasses of wine so you can't driveA banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.0

and leave the keys underneath a plant so he can get in without waking youA banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.0

Only one place to leave the keys and that is under the bin, but now he's switched his phone off, well not answerin probably a flat battery can't arrange that, doubt I could move the bin, it's overflowing. I won't be picking him up tonight now, no way dragging the boys out this late, he can get a cab.
Thanks pandas, no doubt will end up 'discussing' this tomorrow. Won't make much difference now the damage is done. One day I might be more organised...........

the only flaw with leaving the keys under a plant pot (or which ever item at the front door)
is will he know?
or will he knock you up and then you have to shout it through the window?
if the phones off now..............I'd drop the latch!Panda xx

I can't do anything but, the handle bit that keeps the door closed doesn't work, but that lock does, so having to use the old Yale lock on it to keep it closed. It's just annoyed me so much and he doesn't give a monkeys how I feel. Think we need a serious TALK!One day I might be more organised...........

Personally, I'd tell him to take a long walk off a very short pier.
His behaviour is downright selfish.0
