NPM - each to his / her own!!!! Although creepy is definately not too strong a word!

Have started to sort the house out - DS1s room is now clean and clear with a wardrobe in it - several baskets on shelves for underwear etc, and some storage for me too. It looks really neat !!! Have cleaned dogs room and tiler is laying the tiles in the bathroom (YIPEEE!). Am waiting for the second hand wardrobe for DS2s room to be delivered so I can finish the rooms. When I've finished my ice lolly (lunch!) I'll clean the bathroom and the dogs area (one of the dubious pleasures of dog ownership!). Have got some mince out of the freezer for tonight - but not a clue what I'll do yet. Might get some wraps out .... MUST find and take my thyroid tablets - might explain the dip in energy!

PTA meeting tonight and then the usual scramble to get them into bed. I won't be long after them tonight I can tell you. Will go and inspect my strawberry plants to see if there is any extra lunch to be had.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
  • yes get your tablets taken:p

    Hi all,

Happy Birthday to Taplad and Miss Bitsy, hope good days are had by all.(Bitsy :( at the bunting)

I'm off shortly to my old school,I've been invited to watch the KS2 performance,so that'll be nice.I did ring my old neighbour to see if she would be in later(same area-kill 2 birds with one stone :))but there's no answer.

I've got stuff out of the freezer for tea,as I'm not sure when I'll be back.BM is on too,so fairly organised. The house is straight too as friends were coming over on Sat.Why is it that s.o. coming motivates me so much more?My friend was impressed with the maxi dress I made ,so was DH- at first I told him I'd bought it :Dand he said it was really nice, then asked why I was grinning.

    Right,better go,don't want to be late.Have good days all.x

Slightly better day in the North today. Might actually get my washing dry ...

Huge pile of ironing to be done that I am putting off but will just have to get down to it after this as there will just be more later.

Grocery shopping done this morning. 2nd week of proper budgeting and meal planning and managed to spend £11.83 less than my budgeted amount, without really trying. So very happy with that.

Going to make another pan of soup, kids are devouring the stuff just now. I don't mind though as they seem to eat any vegetable in soup.

    Have a good day everyone

Not too well today so got a bath and put a nightie back on. Before the bath I came down and put a chicken in the oven and just before it was finished cooking I used the rest of the oven to bake some currant buns, stuffing and a first attempt at Twinks hob nobs.

The hob nobs (made half the amount) were a success and hubby has renamed them as "bake them again" biscuits.

Only cooked the chicken so I had the pickings off it to tempt pooch to eat but it has not worked. She is laid at the side of me snoozing.
The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T
