I love a good readers digest to read on the bog. Not sure of the other use though - papers too shiny, it would just smear all over.........:o

Maybe NoTW could branch out into a new business venture with the papers they didn't manage to flog at the weekend?

    OLD PRICE:
    12xtoilet rolls weighing approx 984g @£1.22 = £1.24/kg.
    NEW PRICE:
    4x toilet rolls weighing approx 574g @£1.20 = £2.09/kg.

A price increase of approx 69%

Its not just Morrisons, Tesco's have also swapped from 12 to 4 (bigger) rolls at roughly the same price. This is the way they are all going.

I was going to mention that. A while back all the supermarkets did own brand, coloured TP in packs of 12.

I first noticed that Tesco had stopped doing them. Checked the Sainsurys web site and they still had them. A few weeks later and now not one of the 'big 4' do them.

I've noticed this sort of thing before where these supermarkets all seem to act in concert.
