Morrisons toilet paper.....con!

I usually buy Morrisons value toilet paper as it's only £1.22 for twelve rolls and your finger doesn't go through it:p.
Well, went yesterday and they have changed it and it's now four rolls with a message saying 'larger rolls - twice the size of our previous rolls. The price...? £1.20, so that's 2p cheaper for the equivalent of 4 rolls less than the old packaging.
It's not so much the rip off that bothers me (well OK, it is), but rather the disdain with which they treat their customers, thinking we are too thick to notice that we are being given a poorer deal.

How is it a rip off if they are u8pfront with the amounts and sizes? The phrase Rip off is used too much in these forums. Just think of the children.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

£1.20 is still a decent price, especially if it's as good quality as you say.0

I must admit, I asked for an mse "best value toilet paper calculator",but they told me to bogof.0

Even at 15p per roll, it's still a bargain. Remember to use both sides of the paper....."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Shut up moaning and go wipe your bum.0

It's not though, its 30p a roll, wheras it was 10p. Even allowing for the rolls being twice the size its still 30% poorer value.
I do try and fold and use as many times as I can, but apparently it's impossible to fold a piece of paper more than 7 times!:D0 -
Instead of moaning here where Morrisons will probably never read, complain directly to Morrisons and see what they say. You might get some free BUMff.0

So, nothing to do with the global increase in the cost of raw materials, price increases due to freight taxes, fuel costs or any other external influence then.... Just Morrisons 'ripping off' their customers.
Good to know. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
