Morning. I'm sat in my sleeping bag in my LR waiting for the DHL man to arrive, so then I can [strike]go shopping[/strike] go back to bed.
Couldn't sleep for hours last night so I'm very, very tired. Grrr.
Buggalugs I'm totally with you on that. I can't 'do' spiders, I'm worse than my dad (who just gets close enough to get 'em with a vacuum cleaner!)
My mum picks them up and stuff though :eek:uropachild wrote: »Frittered Away, I used diluted stardrops in a spray bottle about 1:6 with water and that shifted the grease on top of my kitchen cupboards. I sprayed it, left it for a minute and then wiped with a damp cloth. Shame no one except me will appreciate how clean they now are! lol!
It was Maxonian - but while we're on the subject, I keep hearing about stardrops. What are they for? (Or is that a 'what AREN'T they for' cause you all seem to use them for everything!)
My sister had sticky cupboards in her new house (not that new actually, she's been there a year now!) and I got put on cupboard duty. They're still not really done but they're better than they were at least
ETA: on googling 'stardrops', the first result was the MSE thread on its uses. Oven door here we come! :j0 -
Buggalugs I feel your pain, I HATE spiders too! I am getting slightly better now.. I can tolerate tiny ones and get the hoover out for bigger ones. But last night I must have been dreaming about them and woke up screaming at DH to turn the light on coz I was convinced there was a huge one in the room. Rather embarrassed about that now though!
Right, I'm finishing my coffee and getting ready for a HHC at 9:45
Today is my only completely free day of the week so I wanted to get the house as straight as possible.0 -

Hi, I have posted before but it has been a while. I am hoping to get back to getting into a routine and getting my house back into some kind of order.
This morning I have started by taking down my voiles and putting them into to soak put Wm on and put some washing out to dry. The main clutter in my living room is my children so am going to get them dressed and declutter the older ones outside as it seems like a nice day.
Right going to put them out and have a coffee while the kettle is boiling I will finish making beds.
Happy Birthday to Wendy Witch.
