Well DS1 was off today so with his very very reluctant help level 2 today, not got time or energy to do the rest yet as swimming is soon. Done question 1 of my assignment, big chunk left to do so I'll have a go at some more when I get in. Everyone's been fed, DW emptied refilled & on. WM been on several times Inc with our summer duvet as I'm sick of cooking at night.
Hope you've all had a good day xxOne day I might be more organised...........

I want to know why I always end up with a headache after I've been to the gym?:(
My friend said that it's because I don't drink enough while I'm there. So today I took in a litre bottle and drank most of it while training and then spent all afternoon getting rid of it!:o 3.00pm low and behold I get a headache!
I didn't even go that mad today either, seeing as I haven't been for a number of weeks. Just did a mile on the treadmill and 2500m on the rowing machine. So about 40 mins of brisk excercise in all. Parrots taken and it's starting to go now, but does anyone have any ideas?
I need to start dinner for the kids. And I think I'll take the Dyson for a walk whilst it's cooking!0 -
Well I tried stardrops almost neat (using a damp sponge, so it still frothed) and I tried it 1:1:1 (ish!) with w vinegar and water, both on the oven door, and neither shifted the muck!
Also tried the mix on the tiles in the bathroom and it didnt do a whole lot... Am I missing something?!0 -

Yes.. stardrops doesn't work on grease.. washing up liquid or sugar soap nothing else will shift it.. though.. a brillo pad is always fun...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

it does appear to be very very baked on...
I take it back about the tiles, in between the patches of mould they're gleaming
Well then the best thing you can use for the door, that will be easiest and cheapest, is to get one of those glass scrapers that are like a razor blade but with a handle if that makes sense? You might be able to pick one up from your local supermarket or failing that a DIY shop. They're only £2 or £3 pounds. Normally used for get paint off of galss.
I have to confess that my oven door needs doing with one again. Very bad flylady that I am.
Once you've got the oven gleaming then just give it a squirt with some white vinegar/water mix (I use 50/50) whilst it's still warm, leave for 5/10 mins and just wipe it over. Never have to 'clean' the oven again.:D
Easy dinner time for me. DS scoiffed a pasta and sauce earlier and isn't hungry. Miss Tag has opted for a prawn salad with me!:D0 -
