Boys room done, DD's room done, our room done. DW been unloaded and reloaded, car washed and more washing out and in. :D

Kids all outside playing so i should go and give the bathroom a clean and run the hoover round.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    I my HHC I -
    Cleared the kitche surfaces
Loaded and put on the DW
Cleared the living room, hallway and stairs of clutter. (DS and Miss Tag helped with that.
DS also hung out a load of washing and Miss Tag cleared up her mess in the garden from yesterday.
    That was it.
    Off to find a list.

My HHC turned into almost 2 HHC's,

    Collected laundry
    Set up wm for morning
    Sorted recycling
Chucked manky veg & cleaned out veg drawer in fridge
Found an awful smell when i went to get some onions for tea, realised it was some manky potatoes so chucked them & washed the rest
Emptied food waste, kitchen, bathroom & office bins
    Put tea on
    Cleared drainer
    Unloaded 1/2 the dw

I'm going to carry on now and see what i can get done before Ds2's bedtime.

Back in this week after a week away, so hope everyone is well. Started back to work last week and my back was completely locked up so didn't do much apart from dailies last week.

Will try to get into some sort of routine. The 5am starts are doing me no favours (not work, just keep waking/being woken early). :(

Also enrolled at college for my AAT starting September. I've no idea how to cope with college, homework, work, flying and looking after two young children. Just going to have to whip DH into shape and get DD to start doing some small chores.

Advice: what do people get their 5 years olds to do?

    Depends..

They put away their own washing and put dirty stuff in the basket. Pick up their toys and put them away, fill bags of rubbish, sweep floors, vacuum.. they love doing this. Strip their own beds. They also mop the bathroom or loo if they have been naughty! or wipe lower halves of doors..
