Just to let people know, there is now an Aspire lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5 (British Airways based here). Previously, there were no lounges available for paid entrance in LHR T5, so this opens up the availability for those without One World status or travelling in Business or First.

Although the lounge at LHR T5 has only just opened there are many reports that it is packed, they are reluctant to accept Priority Pass if they think they can fill it with real paying passengers, at £40 a time, and that frankly you are probably better going to Gordon Ramsey's Plane Food Restaurant and pay considerably less

If this Aspire lounge is anything like the one at LGW North terminal, I wouldn't bother, certainly not at £40pp.

Admittedly it was good to get away from the hustle & bustle of the terminal at LGW but if the one at T5 is packed, then you're not.
