  • Hi Unhappy Camper,

I remember reading another thread about Haven. The OP had a raft of problems and complaints. It took them several letters and I think they had to take it to the top of the Haven board of directors, but they had a full refund in the end. I'm sure they will offer you a refund rather than go to court. But take it to that stage if they are stubborn.

I think its definitely worth doing a sun £9.50 holiday next time, we were upgraded on ours and were thrilled with the van we had, all for £78.

    Good luck UC!

    SFG x

Thanks for your kind words. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Just waiting to find out whether haven are going to defend the case.

    Just a quick update.

Today I received the following reply from haven after issuing them with my claim.

Thank you for your most recent letter received on the 12/7/2011

Pleased be advised that your file has been put forward for review and will be investigated again as requested. Third investigations may require additional time however, you can expect a response within 7 days of this letter.

So they are going to investigate for a third time. Would be interesting to know what was investigated the previous two times. Anyway, I'm hoping I may be getting somewhere now that the head of customer relations is dealing with my complaint.

Maybe they might be able to restore my faith in them after all.

! I think youve been given a "OLD " top of the grade static . well used and should have been down graded for that reason. If the matress was unacceptable then it needed to be informed and changed there and then. Small claims is a difficult one here with some complications to you. good luck. I would have stood my ground on day one saying Is that platinum ? Is that platinum ? Is that plat... I want that one .
 hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world
