Boil up some water with sugar in, and the juice of a couple of your limes, let this cool, and use it as liquid for your fruit salad x

Evening all,
Thanks for all the good wishes and belated congratulations to Ann and Mark....don't know the answer to that myself Jannyannie, the years just seem to have slipped away, seems like yesterday until I look in a mirror or at Ulick!!
Have had quite a lazy day, cooked pancakes for breakfast and OH cooked dinner of steak, stirfried veg and roasties, pudding was jelly, icecream and mango. Did some knitting and left DS2 to airport, he came from London yesterday morning to see his dog! While he was here he installed google chrome to speed up my pc, but it is driving me nuts so far....too fast for an oldie like me!
Hope that the party went well JackieO, my parents' families were always wonderful for gettogethers but I find that it doesn't happen with my generation and even less with my children's which I think is a great pity, too busy now or something equally stupid, I still feel that blood is thicker than water.
Had a lovely dinner last night in my brother's and learnt that my elder nephew (my godson) got married in US on Thursday last, he hates fuss and nobody knew for certain that it was happening until afterwards. He has been living in the US for about 4 years now, his bride is American and they will visit for a month later in the year, I look forward to meeting her.
Hugs to all in need or want,
