Haven't spent anything yet, but need to try and get a cheap waterproof jacket and post an ebay parcel today. I am going to a festival on Thursday but that is separate spending money.

If the waterproof is for the festival, why don't you see if you can get one of those plastic poncho things? They can be packed really small and presumably won't be as expensive as a proper waterproof... Couldn't tell you where to find them though - perhaps a camping shop like Millets or something?!

Today so far I have spent £2 for the work euro millions syndicate. I really hope someone wins the jackpot soon as this is getting expensive!!:D

Hi pp - that was very thoughtful, thank you

i didn't have my NSD yesterday as gave my friend £1.19 (all I had in purse) towards all the drinks he bought me last night! Good deal for me haha :j

I have a day off work today, had physio this morning and haircut this avo, our hairdresser is lovely and comes to our house, I'm not having colour this time as I alternate it, so my cut today is only £10. bargain! However, I gave mum the money for this in advance on the weekend so doesn't come into my weekly spend budget this week yay!

    Total so far £37.54/£40

I am just nipping out to Tesco in a minute, I have had a small spend today on some unhealthy food, oops, but that wasn't in this budget. However since I would actually like a couple of NSDs this week, I decided I'm going to get milk now, which should me through till Friday. Not sure if I need a pint for home or not, but def need a two pinter for work, so spend planned of between £0.89 and £1.39.

Hope you're all having a nice week

    LC x

Edit: Spent £2.12 on 3 pints milk and some reduced veg so £39.66/£40

A lovely NSD for me today :) Glad I factored in the taxi fare for this weekend too. I was hoping to split it with my sisters as I was taking them to work with me on Saturday but it turns out they're on a later shift to me and can get the train which leaves me getting a taxi into town on my own at 4am :( I'm hoping I can blag someone into picking me up after my shift so I don't have to spend more money to get home.

Lovely NSD for me yesterday as well, first one of the month, yay :j

Going for one today as well but may need petrol (we'll see how it goes and if I can hang on till tomorrow) - it's annoying as I'm right out in the country the garages are extortionate, at the moment we are talking about £1.43 ish but one of them may be £1.44, whereas 10 miles down the road at the big Tesco it's about £1.34! So I always have to time it right to get the most from my money! Gah!

    Have a great day all

My total for the week so far is £11.80 so I'm well on track to stay within my £30 budget this week. :j Nothing lined up for the next 2 days so there's no reason I'll be spending much money! Need to get some shampoo but might use my Boots points for that, seeing as things are particularly tight at the moment...

    Have a good day everyone!

I feel your pain with the shampoo, seems like all my 'big' toiletries will run out by the end of the month annoyingly - foundation, mascara, shampoo, conditioner etc...

I'm like you and have been squirreling my Boots points, I try and do big Boots shops when I have vouchers to get extra points etc but I've got to the point where I can't bring myself to spend them :rotfl: it's so nice knowing they are sat there... :A x

Think I'm going to overspend this week :(
Already spent £17 :o on tesco shop, and I have 2 nights out this week, 1 is a birthday and 1 is my work leaving night out.
However it is because I start a new job on monday, office temp work, I will be earning 3x what I did last month hurrah!
But I need to buy a pair or trousers and a couple of shirts to see me through the week.
I guess I will use the £13 I didn't spend last week and try not to spend any extra, sighs.

Oh yeah I totally know what you mean! Last time I spent my points, I was like "really? is that all I have left?" lol. I remember a time when I had loooooads of points! But now I have to use them more frequently so they don't build up so much :( Oh well, it all helps!

Spent 6 quid yesterday on various bits, so I'm up to £18.40 on my total spend :D (also forgot to get the shampoo yesterday, so will get that today! lol)

    xx

    Hi guys

I spent 90p yesterday (again towards a drink - I'm doing quite well this week!!) and today spent £1.75 on hospital lunch - £1.25 for my salad bar and 50p for my friend so he could have a bowl of chips :D He has bought me drinks this week after all.......

So that's... *thinks* ... total of £2.65 on top of the £39.66 which is... *thinks again* ... £42.31 I believe!

I'm not planning on spending any more today, not going anywhere after work and have stuff for tea at home, so I'll declare my total as slightly over budget:

    £40/£42.31

This is much better than I usually do so pleased with this even though I'm red!

    Have a lovely weekend all

    LC xx
