Euros - ATM use and making Purchases

The OP has already clearly demonstrated that Travelex Cash Passport Globe is the cheapest.
Whilst the Kalixa currently has commission free purchases, you have to pay £4.95 for the card. That is equal to £330 of free spending on the TCPG, plus the Kalixa has an ATM withdrawal charge of £2.25.
I know that you are trying to be helpful, but you too are just muddying the waters.
You can get the Kalixa card through quidco and get £8 cash back, so you actually make some money:rotfl:
I haven't used nationwide in a long time so its possibly not the cheapest any longer.
Having a look at the travelex globe it does indeed look to be the cheapest with a load of 1.5% on everything. so would be ideal for atm withdrawals. However you have to load £500 onto it to get it for free, there is a £1.95 charge if you load over £100 but less than £500, and there is almost £5 if you load less than £100.0 -

All wrong again.
Firstly, it's 1.49% and the card is completely free no matter what the order if you pick it up yourself from a Travelex shop or at the airport.
But, the Kalixa - Quidco tip is a good one. :money:0 -

I think you'll find there is still a £1.99 charge for orders less than £100 even if its picked up at a Travelex branch, its an admin fee.
Hows those muddy waters looking....0 -
Santander, Post Office, Sainsburys; all proper Credit Cards, not top-up gimmicks, with various free use abroad offers. Why are these being entirely overlooked; no fees to pay money onto them, no fees to get them (Sainsburys does have a monthly fee, granted)...Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0

They aren't being overlooked. Some people don't want to apply for another CC.0 -

Sorry, I missed that in the OP. Although I still think its the best option as it's free all roundNever argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0 -

Partly because they are no good for ATM use.0 -

How so? The Santander has no cash advance fees either, so cash can be taken just like any other transactionNever argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0
