If I had won I would have:
Not turn up for work and not tell them why (you can tell that I love my job lol)
Split the money equally between myself and OH, my dad and my brother.
Got my dental veneers.
Bought an open market house in Guernsey as a holiday home (these are very expensive but the only way to live there if you are not local)
Done up the house me and my OH live in now and move out to somewhere nicer in Manchester
Buy myself a car when I pass my test
Go traveling
Pay off mine and OH's debts0 -
I'd give most of it to local and international good causes, make sure my parents were provided for in old age, my nephew (6) and niece (2) had enough money to see them through university and enable to choose their paths in life without being held back by financial concerns and keep enough for me and Jasper-dog to have a decent car and not have to work again.
So many millions would be too much for me. Money makes things easy - it rarely makes people happy.
Actually, I'd probably pay the tabloids a small fortune to ensure that Katie Price and Kerry Katona never appear within their pages again.0 -
There's just short of 30 of us at work; I would get a couple of financial advisors to work out how much each one needed to stop working immediately, set them up for retirement. Nothing outlandishly flashy for them, but enough.
Design my own house and find the plot for it, somewhere close to home. Go on a long cruise/holiday while it was being built. I would need someone I trusted to project manage, but they would be handsomely rewarded.
Every days interest would go to charity.0 -
At 10 million a mile I think I would buy 12 different miles of motorway and stick a toll booth on each one.
Treble me outlay in a month0 -
In this order I would:
Buy my parents a new home of their choice
Set them up with a nest-egg so they can retire handsomely if they wish (they probably wouldn't though)
Donate a substantial amount to CLIC Sargent - a charity very close to my heart
Buy myself a house
New cars all round for myself, friends and family
Pay an investment specialist to advise me
Go travelling for a few months in luxury with my partner once everything has settled down
The only people that would ever see a lump sum of cash from me would be my parents. I would buy my brother and sister a home each once they both reach 25 years old but they must have already moved out, lived alone and supported themselves and have a full-time job when I do so - don't want them being spoilt with such big things like that and be lazy if they know a free house is coming0 -
I would buy lots of ferraris and helicopters, hookers and holidays....Oh, and probably waste the rest!:p

I would keep 10 million for myself for the future and then distribute 40 million amongst family and really good friends (but i never would go public, christ they will be looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives!) I would buy all the cheap houses that need doing up, do them up and then rent them out to the homeless and people who need the houses and the money made would go back into it so that everyone could have a roof over their heads.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

I would live off the 9k in interest a day it earnsSurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
-
i would use it to fill up the car with petrol and pay the gas and electric bill.
oh hang on... its only 166 million so thats probably not enough to do both of these.
never mind!0 -
I wouldn't go public let me just say that!!
But let's just say friends, family and charities would benefit from it
Oh we can all dream can't we...0
