I agree with most things about the dreadful website and sale. However, I cannot fault the staff in either of my 2 local stores as they have been so helpful and willing to please. Not that much in either store but they all definitely knew about the sale deal and price checked what I wanted in one of the stores as they had not yet got everything out. Managed to get 3 playboy gift sets for £9.99 so putting away for Christmas but need to find out whether they are male of female sets first!! I thought it was all female stuff but the assistant in the shop said she thought it was for males the stuff I got!!!
Do any MSEs know more? If so let me know please.
The pb set I got was for men, it said for men somewhere..along the top or side if the box I think. Hth0 -
Is anyone actually managing to buy anything from the site? Everything I try to add says 'out of stock'!You bowl like your mother. Unless of course she bowls well, in which case you bowl nothing like her

So once you get a product into the clutches of your basket does that mean it's safe for a certain amount of time? Or could it disappear while I'm browsing? I dont want to rush through to payment and end up paying multiple delivery costs! You bowl like your mother. Unless of course she bowls well, in which case you bowl nothing like her

Nothing is safe on this website! So, yes, it could disappear - or, as in my case, it is removed to bottom of basket list and marked OOS, but the order total does not deduct and you cannot remove the items by clicking 'remove' or by changing total to 0. Then, if you carry on regardless, you get a message that customer service will contact you and the order goes to back of pile it seems and is marked 'pending'.“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0 -
Oh what does this mean?
There is insufficient inventory to fulfill your entire order at the moment. You will be contacted by our customer service representatives.
Ughh, selected paypal payment but it hasn't asked me to pay!?

They cancelled my WHOLE order when that happened to me saying ALL my items were OOS ( when they weren't! ) and they couldn't fulfil my order , they didn't even sound bothered or genuinly sorry at all even though I told them I was online for 4 hours trying to get my order through0

I went to a large LLoyds with a very helpful sales assistant.......what a pleasant change to the trouts in the previous 2 branches I tried!
I got 3 x Kylie giftsets for £19.99 (one of DD's faves).
6 x large antibacterial sprays to use on GS's highchair (like Dettol spray) all 6 for £2.00.
2 x Mango perfumes for DD's and posh hand cream stuff for me for £8.00.
2 x body lotion and 1 x baby bath stuff for £2.00.
Paid in 4 lots (and old man behind tutted a lot and kept looking at his watch) - I said to sales lady I wanted to pay seperately to "maximise my savings" (read someone else on MSE used that line) and she said, "that's right but we'd automatically do that for you so you save the most"......:T
