I was saddened to read this post - I don't think anyone should feel obligated to buy other people presents if they are that short of money. The concept of needing to do so sounds so wrong to me. To go without food is crazy. I found myself wondering if you were a troll tbh.

lol me a troll- take a look at my post count compared to yours :)
I'm glad you've clearly never been put in the embarassing situation of telling family members that you won't be buying them anything this year. Some people do need to save money that badly whether you agree or not.

On another note i have been to 3 lloyds twice over the last few days and been told in one to keep coming back as they have loads out the back. I asked for the purfume sets so i'm hopefull i might get the 3 i'm after at some point. Most stores seems to have random junk though tbh.

Hee hee. An excellent point about your number of posts.

However, for two years I lived on the breadline paying off my debt at £622.76/ month and after paying my living costs having just 96 pence left over for treats! I know exactly how it feels and told all my family I did not have the money for presents and they understood completely. I wasn't embarrassed because they were proud of me for putting in so much effort to sort out my finances. I never went without food because that is a basic need - giving gifts is not - but each to their own eh?

Lloydspharmacy Hand Held Body Composition Monitor

It says £9.99BUY1GET2FREE on their website, while it is £3BUY1GET2FREE in my local stores. Also Lloyds tens machine is £10 in my local stores while £15 online, strange.
I've noticed that small Lloyds pharmacies have the best stock in my experience. Bought loads from three stores today and tomorrow will be visiting 20 lloyds pharmacies in my city.

I'm giving up on this sale. All they have in any stores near me is tat left over from previous sales. Not wasting any more time on it.
    Walk away from the sale.........

No Lloyds anywhere near so I only had the online site to try and grab something.

Gave up in frustration on the first day as kept getting booted off but strangely all is calm at the moment. Lots has sold out, of course, but managed a small order - at last !
  • I don't think I'll ever get anything online from this sale. Rang CS to confirm order (I've had email but just checking....). Advised "no inventory" - so no order. Ridiculous! I ordered early this morning as soon as new items added to site and checkout confirmed everything bar two items, and then I received Order Confirmation!

This has to be one of the most frustrating sales ever ... every time they add new items its like dangling a carrot which never seem able to get! lol

I added 6 items to my basket but by the time I tried to checkout 3 of the items were OOS so it wasn't worth my while with the postage costs .. one minute they are in stock , the next , gone!!

It would have let me check out it seems but then my whole order would have been cancelled because of the OOS items....At least last time once it was in your basket it was yours , this time its like you've got stuff in your basket you are truly happy to ''get'' and then they take it out again and leave you with nothing :(

I went back to my two local stores today with my mum and i got E45 Junior cream in the tubes B1G2F and when we got to the counter my mum asked the SA if the Gillette fusion razor blades where in the offer, so she checked as she had some behind the counter and she said YES we were so chuffed, but she only had 2 packs so my bought a Beckham gift set too. The pack had 8 blades so worked out £7 for 8 blades and when we priced them in asda they were on sale for £20 odd for the same pack!

The SA said that all the stickered items that had 'Now only' were in the B1G2F offer. Also she was still sticking on labels for some items and said the sale will be on for a while.

Im going to keep checking the stores i pass as the blades are a bargain price.

Its the first time i have ever been to the Lloyds sale and am happy that ive got everything i wanted, but hope that next year the website will be better!

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have 4 stores close to me, 1 dont even have a sale on, 1 is a bigger store and had abit in but when you take the stuff to the till the SA looks at you like you are stealing from her.
1 has about 6 items in, and the last store has stuff with the flower sticker on but they wont let you have buy 1 get 2 free even tho the sign in the window says everything with the flower sticker on, eg i bought blood testing kit and got told "No not £7 they £15 and not buy 1 get 2 free i wont sell you them" and took them off me and put them out the back. i dont think the staff have been told what to do.
