the one i went to today had perfumes scanning at higher prices than i bought the same ones for yesterday,

eg lee cooper have been £6 ish in all the stores i've been to also kylie inverse for men was £7.50 in other stores but double this in this particular store

also hot water bottles were £3 but i got them £1.50 yesterday

when i questioned the lady she literally accused me of lying and asked which stores i had been to because she wanted to phone them up. When I told her the exact stores and she could ring with my pleasure and in fact I insist she ring she shut up. Then when I accused her of implying I was a liar the manager checked on the sheet and said "oh yes the hot water bottles are £1.50!!!"

Then she the other lady went to say what what are you going to do with all this stuff ???!!!:eek: What business is it of hers????:mad:
So I had to justify to her how many extended family members I have and she still looked soooo cheesed off:cool:

I took my mum as a treat after her CT scan which turned out nothing serious and treated her to several fragrances including

    Matthew Williamson £7.99
    Mango Adorable £8.99
    Miss sixty £7

    a couple of gift sets

the Matthew Williamson was £42.99 in the January B1G2F sale !!!!!!!

Well done on your buys and treating your mum, celebrate! Evil trouts!
  • Be aware that not all items are included. Read the small print on the prominent displays in the shop and look for the sticker. I tried to get the offer on pain killers but they are not included. In fact as I looked around my local pharmacy not one item had the requisite sticker!!!!

There are 2 small shops in Soham- I got a big bag of goodies from one for a total spend of £9.50 - best buy must have been 3 big bottles of head and shoulders conditioner for £1 on buy one get 2 free amongst other things! However, popped into the second store later in the day and no sign of any clearance goodies in sight.
  • Some of us are having to find/stay up all hours to get bargains for xmas pressies because we can't afford to do otherwise. If i have to get 10 pressies at full price later on down the line we will have to do without food or similar for a few days/week. For some people it's a genuine need to save money on something that they have to buy. I nearly had my whole xmas list sorted for £16 but after my orders have been cancelled i will now have to buy elsewhere at a much higher price. Even just cheapish £5 presents will cost me £50.

I don't think it's very nice to tarnish everyone when there are those who need to get bargains compared with those who are just buying more carp for the sake of it.

I was saddened to read this post - I don't think anyone should feel obligated to buy other people presents if they are that short of money. The concept of needing to do so sounds so wrong to me. To go without food is crazy. I found myself wondering if you were a troll tbh.

More items have been added to Buy 1 get 2 Free and some restocked. This time (having lost 2 baskets earlier this week) I have received confirmation email. Not getting too excited as there was a note on order about being contacted by CS as some items OOS, but I'm keeping got my fingers crossed I've been lucky with most - particularly with Miss Sixty EDT and the E45 Bath Oil, which is a godsend for eczema. Hope they don't just cancel the whole order.....

I don't think I'll ever get anything online from this sale. Rang CS to confirm order (I've had email but just checking....). Advised "no inventory" - so no order. Ridiculous! I ordered early this morning as soon as new items added to site and checkout confirmed everything bar two items, and then I received Order Confirmation!
