The value chicken also freezes well, so you could put it in a bag in the freezer and just take out what you wanted.Hope is not a strategy.0

Has anyone noticed the 4 pack value toilet roll has gone up to £1.20 for online. Shocking!!!!!!-2lbs
Goal: lose 7lbs0 -
Yes I used to buy the 9 pack of rolls for about that not long ago - now I buy another brand of 9 rolls for about 2.49 which is the cheapest at Tesco - quite a rise.Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day. -- Sally Koch0

If you look at the first post, I have updated it to include the Asda smartprice equivalent- 12 rolls for £1.60
Nearly a third of the price per roll!!!!!
It makes sense to stock up where it's cheaper!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

jumblejack and pigsmayfly - the value toilet rolls have doubled in length - 400 sheets per roll. Been studying recycled loo paper today and it is cheaper in lidl by quite a few pence if you have one near you. Worth getting it with weekend cheese deal this weekend 400g mature cheddar £1.46 cheaper than tesco's deal of buy one get two free even taking into account points.0

I use it as a base for my home-made curries (just to bulk it really) and for exactly that, when the kids want to dip chips in something.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I use the value 1 litre skimmed milk which is fine and only 49p
I find my fresh milk goes off a bit too quickly and at least you can store these till needed!
I haven't had any problems with value bio washing powder either and at 30 washes for £1.69 it is good value
Am going to try the value 200g midget gems 33p for my DGS as sweet treats are sweet treats0
