  • I had quite a good wee shop in Mr T's today, a £48 shop down to £28 with various coupons, nearly forgot to buy the Daily Mail before I went to the checkout, so had to double back and get that lol :D

Allthough I could have kicked myself when I realised that I had left some of my coupons in the house, no bic razors, purple wkd or almonds for me today, damn! Just need to save them for another day I suppose ;)

I found this very useful website on the other thread for doing the Tesco shopping list esp if you are trying to fo a £40 etc shop to use a conditional spend and also get as big a JTD voucher as possible

    http://www.trolleychecker.com/index.php

What I find much more difficult is doing an Asda shop, buying at least 8 different items and using as many MOCs as possible to get a APG voucher.

But one suggestion if anyone still has Foxes Amber biscuits MOCs left they are one of the few things cheaper in Tesco :D 3 different flavours so only another 5 to find!

30p Vitalite coupon (doesn't appear to be on page 1 already)

    http://www.vitalitedairyfree.co.uk/#/home

top right; click the hot air balloon "get 30p off your next pack".

Fill in details & it generates a personalised coupon (tho not personalised needing that stupid couponstar software). Expires in 2 weeks.

(Whether it expires in 2 weeks from when you print, or whether it just lasts til 19th August I don't know)
  • Got a Couponstar coupon by post today for £1.00 off any Fairy Fabric softener. Great I hear you all cry except it's only valid until 31/7/2011.
    It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

If my calculations are right, if you bought the exact shopping list above in asda it would cost you £59.12. The same shopping in Tesco would cost you £32.07. Therefore asda would give you a voucher for the difference (£27.05) plus 10% (£3.21) making a £30.26 voucher, which can be used in Adsa or Tesco. So the actual saving is only £3.21, the total cost would be £23.84.

    Afernoon all

I've never shopped in Asda to generate an APG (because Asda is too far away from me) - but i thought the advert was... if your shop would have been cheaper elsewhere by 10%, we will give you back the difference.

therefore I didn't think it was just a comparison against Tesco....doesn't it use mysupermarket for comparison so also uses Sainsbury's and ocado?
Also the advert doesn't say it will give you an additional 10%. Just the difference if it would have been 10% cheaper elsewhere.

Or have I misheard the ad?
    The end is nigh

Just had my worst shop ever

First I pick the only trolley that wont go straight kept veering left, which only got worse the more I put in, and I was getting a lot.
Gets to the till, SA wouldn't accept my APG and my S's CS called super who asked CS who still said no, tried arguing that I had used them before, but was too hot and tired, forgot I had my print outs  . Also would only take half my This water moc's because 'they are on offer' so ended up paying for some of them, then the SA could only remember putting 3 packets of Almonds through not 4 which I had moc's for, the recipt showed almond x 3 and wasabi, but wouldn't believe the wasabi was almonds so had to search through a trolley piled high :eek to find them.

Do you think an email to HO is in order?

EDIT: Just realised they didn't give me all the unscanned water moc's back I had 14 (OH been claiming them too) they scanned 7 but I only got 5 back  I hate T's sometimes.
