Because if the press get hold of the story it will be ASDA whoes name is plastered in the article and not the manufacturer.
Personally I would contact the food standards agency who will in turn look in to it and bring it to ASDAs attention.
The press and legal implications will be worse if they don't act on the information supplied by the OP and someone purchases another package with needles in it, anyway all i'm saying is the fastest way to get the investigation started and any possible product recall is to contact Asda first, they will start the investigation way faster then the agencies who may he dealing with other things at the same time.0 -

No, im not trying it on.
I returned the needles to the Asda branch and they have been sent off for an investigation. There is no news as yet, but I will post here with the outcome0
