Yeah strangely this was happening for me too in Firefox. Internet Explorer took me to the correct page where I could submit my details and then was pleasantly informed that my 'details are already registered and you will be contacted soon". 'soon'...yeah, soon.
Been trying the freephone number pretty solid last few days and no luck - due to obvious reasons. I actually got a ringing tone at 22:57pm tonight, after the auto-lady informed me to "hold on for my call to be answered"...I got my little hopes up and then it told me the line was closed at 8pm!! Umm...I thought that line closed at 11pm?!?!? Funny how the same number told me "high volume of calls" five minutes prior to this.
Hope the above helps!!0 -
Hi I found out I had one of the faulty fridge freezers and have been trying to get through on the freephone number advertised on the Beko website ever since without any luck! I did a search round and found another forum site where someone had used 0800 783 7892. Bingo got through within 2 minutes and have an engineer booked to come out on 20th July. The operator did apologise and said that the messages on the website were confusing and people had been complaining! Not surprised but at least I have an engineer book now, will be coming sometime between 8am and 6pm
ho-hum!

Brilliant, thank you! Didn't think to try IE... Firefox is usually more reliable for me, though not for everything...0 -
At the end of the day you get what you pay for. I bet the person whose flat went up in flames wish they'd paid a few more quid for a better brand now ...just to lose a fridge/freezer full of food was bad enough for us - a home or a life is a whole lot worse.
Price is not always the only consideration for buying a Beko fridge/freezer, although I guess it often is. I bought one because it's the only major brand that design the auto-defrost models to work in an unheated room (e.g. garage) throughout the winter. Most of the 'quality' brands take the cheap option of fitting a single thermostat, which means that when the weather is cold your freezer slowly defrosts because the fridge doesn't need cooling and therefore the compressor never operates. In this respect Beko is a better brand than more expensive alternatives, such as Hotpoint in whose freezer I wasted some frozen food this way. Had my garage burnt down due to this fault, which thankfully it didn't, I would not have put it down to needing to spend a few more quid in the first place. Things are never as black and white as they first seem...I did a search round and found another forum site where someone had used 0800 783 7892.This number got straight through and I've now booked an appointment.
