Even with these problems?...
There is a connection issue with the back lights
The airbag light is on
Some t!t left his handbrake off and ran into the front of mine. He fixed it all, but didn't do a great job!
One of the back doors doesn't match the rest (was like it when I bought it
The blowers don't always work
There is a knocking when I reverse
It crunches when I go into 5th gear
And I'm pretty sure the power steering doesn't work (well, it doesn't feel like it!)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I'd be quite happy to get £150 for it! Bought it 2 years ago for £500 and it's done me really well but £55 a month insurance and £15-20 a week in fuel pluss all the other costs that goes with it is crippling me! Especially when I can drive my BF's car for the price of (shared) fuel! Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0 -
Yes, that's the best thing you can do. Just try to sell it on ebay and if it doesn't work, scrap it0

I'm in the prcess of writing the eBay ad now, but I'm crap at this (being a blonde woman and all lol). Just gonna really honest me thinks and see what happens. Just not sure what to start it at?? Ideally I'd like to get a least £100 for it but don't wanna start it too high!
To be honest, you'll probably sell it for more with a "dumb blonde" ad than one that looks like it was professionally written.
Years back I eBayed an old knackered laptop I had before buying a new one. My ad was clearly from a non-techie (which I was back then) and listed everything I could think of that was wrong with the thing. It sold for loads.
As others have said, it might be worth at least ringing a scrap yard for a quote before listing, and then starting the car at that price. If it doesn't sell you can scrap it.
One thing I would say is don't use a reserve - I hate auctions with reserves. Just start it at the minimum you want for it.
Be dumb blonde in the description but remember to include payment details (methods of payment you take) and for a car ad say that people are welcome to come round and take a look before bidding (assuming you're ok with that).
My first car was E-reg Metro Sport and I wish I'd kept it. One sold on eBay recently for £372 and it had been really badly sprayed black, but apparently there's only 10 left on the road!0 -
This site is great, they would pick my car up for £160! Have saved the quote so if it doesn't sell on eBay will definately be using them. Been smoke free for 4 years!! :beer:0
