My God - those things are ugly for what they're supposed to be made to do.

There is an alternative - which looks a lot more stylish, and works much much better - which is the Travel Vest made by Scottevest, which contains 22 pockets for various things.

I have one myself - I use it just about every day for carrying stuff like my iPad, notebook, drinks bottle, mobile phone, pens and other stuff I need for work - fully loaded with all of that kind of thing, it looks as if I'm not carrying anything extra on me due to the way the thing is constructed.

I'd choose that over the Rufus thing any day.

I think Martin tested one of these over a year ago but at the time they were about £100 so were not very MSE.

Where can you buy these in UK? Have looked on the net but only found them in US.

Hi, could you say where you've ordered the jacket for just £19.99 including postage? I couldn't find this special offer anywhere...

Just found this thread after searching on google for this type of thing, has anyone had any problems in the last fews months or maybe any other options appeared since?
