I am really chuffed, as I have just done a haggle on the phone for cheaper internet. Managed to get my phone, and 10/20 mg broadband for £30.95 per month. OK , I know I can get it cheaper, but not the same speed broadband. However, I was paying £35 for just the broadband, and a bt line (which I had been stuck with for a year ~ needed to keep the phone number). So I have gained the BT line charge, and £6 per month on the broadband.
Also did some haggling for some electrical spares that I needed, and got them locally cheaper than on the net. I think it is partly this site, and Don Littlewood to blame for me getting [STRIKE]miserly[/STRIKE] fed up of paying over the odds.

Welcome, I am not sure of the value of your items. You should make the total ok.

Try putting the item in google, that's what I do, and go for the lowest price I could have bought it for.

    Hi Guys,

Just started this a few days ago, can I join in :)

    Internet is 20meg with NTL/Virgin Media currently £17.50, so 6 months = £105

    Doesn't sound too bad :)

Hi Tinker and littleange - you are both very welcome. As you both have small targets, I think you will manage ok if you enter plenty. Good luck and keep us updated with you wins :).
