    Evening all,

With DD4's help I managedto dispose of 3 bin bags to the CS....wardrobe is looking mush better....still have to go through the sweaters, but that's for another day.

Took a chance last night and put clothes on line, they are now dry, we just had some drizzle early this am, so will take them in soon.

Dinner to-day was spag bol, made with remains of stew from freezer, tin tomatoes, bit of tomato puree, chopped chorizo and seasoning....was good and was able to feed DD4 and DGS2, there is even some left over for my lunch to-morrow. We are eating salad at least twice a day as there is lots of lettuce, sorrel and bitty stuff around, hoping that all the fibre will assist with even a few pounds weight loss.

JackieO....will you slow down woman, you put me to shame! Enjoy the books.

JackieG....I used to have low BP and would almost fall asleep talking, always felt shattered...rotten feeling so take it easy and hie yoursel off to doctor to get checked. My regards to Lou.

Bitsy....sorry to hear about your friend.

Uolypool....birthday greetings to your twins....oh to be 18 again!

Disappointed at how slow the tomatoes are to ripen...haven't had one yet! Peas and beans are coming on well, as are beetroot and celeriac and there is a couple of handfuls of raspberries/loganberries every day....lovely to have fresh fruit on tap...roll on the apples.

Hugs to all of you who could do with one for whatever reason, have a nice evening

Hi Marie we put banana skins near our tomatoes when they are grown to encourage ripening x

Have just dug up half my spuds, so pleased it's like magic! Tea tonight was HM chips, onion rings, steak for DS and baked beans and poached egg for me. Have also made some more cakes for lunches and sown some more salad veg.
