Hugs for your sad news about your friend Bitsy.

Yesterday's dinner was a heat up of Thai chicken and stir fry veg from Saturday and it was yummy. I added some stock and spices and it tasted totally different from the original 2 dishes:)

JackieO I feel tired just reading about your whizzing about. Good job you've got some books to keep you in one place for a few moments:)

Have a good day all. Hope the washing stays safe until home time (fingers and toes crossed), Silver x

I have been MIA because Internet explorer has been a real sh*t  and I haven't been able to log on to the internet for a couple of days. I have now downloaded Mozilla and it seems to be working a lot better.

Had a rollercoaster couple of days, first the starter motor on the car died so bye bye £101 then when DH went to fit it, he found out that the shop had sold him the wrong one  So his dad took him to get the money back and came back with the correct one which was only £90 :D (TG DH got his tax back this month )

Then we discovered that we had no cold water coming into the bathroom so DH went up into the loft and found that the Eaga cowboys who put it in had just filled a black bag with insulation and laid it over the tank, so over the last year it has slowly been sinking to the bottom and managed to clog up the holes at the bottom of the tank  Once DH had removed that everything is working fine - he has replaced it with the polystyrene that we was protection for the new washing machine, luckily I had the foresight not to throw it away in case it came in useful :D

We got a text last night from one of our God-daughters to say that she had finally passed all her accountancy exams :j

Then this morning we had an appointment to take the Rabbit for his ww weigh in, to find that not only had they moved the appointment by an hour, they were even late for that and there were no other animals there, no apologies......... nothing  so DH, who is getting less and less patient the older he gets , walked out in a huff.

phew smiley-confused009.gif what a lot can happen in just a few days.

JackieG I hope that you feel better soon maybe you should go to see the doc (((((((((Hugs))))))))) and (((((((((Hugs for Lou))))))))))

uolypool Happy birthday to the boys smiley-greet002.gifsmiley-greet002.gif

Well I have some more washing to put out .

I hope the rest of the day bodes fair for all of you x

Service was lovely, her children read out readings that they'd written which were lovely to hear, very sad but made me very thankful for what I have around me.

Called into library this morning too for some cook books and a learn to crochet book. I fear I am going to be totally useless at the latter :o

Butterflybrain - Phew! Hope the rest of the week is calmer and lighter on the pocket xxx

jackieg - not got a blood pressure monitor you could borrow off someone?? Hope you're feeling better soon x

Hugs for Lou too, hope she's feeling better this morning after her op xx

good afternoon all--happy birthday to the twins.

i am finally coming home on friday night but it will be a brief encounter-i return on the 23-7!
it will be interesting to see how the uk has changed and whether the charity shops are still worth going to! Yesterday my wife clocked my suitcase that i bought in tk maxx last year for 50 quid in a shop here at 160 quid--the uk is cheap for designer gear so i will be filling my suitcase with necessities!-the uk is great for shopping because it has infinite choice whereas turkey has lots of repetitive junk(and rip offs that arent up to the job)
its warm here at 34 degrees and i am keeping cool by drinking some iced beer-i talked to my dad earlier and it seems just a tad cooler in the uk.
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.

Hope Lou is feeling better after her procedure, JackieG hope you can pass the hugs on. Also hope you are feeling better JackieG.
Happy Birthday to the Uolypool boys, hope you have a good day.
Thoughts to you and your tap friends family Bitsy.
your gifted bag of books sounds good JackieO.

Went for a radical haircut/colour this morning which I am liking! Also had to get a new tyre for my car, have had a slow puncture for a while and saw a huge piece of metal in it yesterday so had another put on to the tune of £60!

A friend brought down a trailer full of logs this afternoon which will be very handy in the autumn/winter. Also managed to cut the grass - it has been a bit showery here today but will apparently pour down tomorrow, so at least that's done for this week.

    Take care all. XX
