    Morning all,

Another bright and beautiful day here, meant to be raining, but I am not complaining, got a small wash on the go, and a small hand wash, will get them oth on the line, in case the rain comes later on.

Did not have roast chicken last night it was just too hot, so dd and I made up a pasta salad, a rice salad and a tomato salad and we had that with cold chicken, will have the rest of the salads tonight with some jacket spuds.

Need to do some office work this morning, and have a tidy through, will walk the dog before it gets too hot.

Bitsy, how sad, hope today goes as well as it can, hugs to you xx

Sistercas, any news yet ?? xx

Lou, have a hug too xxxx

    Have good days all xxxx

Hi, I used to post on the daily a long time ago, for some reason I got sidetracked and stopped, but I would like to start again :D

Today, I need to do some ironing, make some salsa from tomatoes that need using up, and also make some bread rolls for hubby's lunches. WM is on at the moment, I'm making use of the sun while it's here, so the WM has been working overtime the last few days. No other plans at the moment, although DH did mention about popping to homebase later on today so I will probably wander down with him and take a look at the plants.

It is nice to be back! I hope that you all have a good day.

    Good Morning All.
Hope your twins have a great birthday uolypool!
Lovely day here, so about to hang the washing out to dry. BM is on - I forgot yesterday, only to find no bread in the freezer. Did find a couple of hotcross buns though, so we had those for breakfast. Dinner tonight will be shepherd's pie with the last of Sunday's lamb. (Yesterday we made moussaka.) Lunch will be quick - cheese, biscuits and fruit.
Have just boiled up vinegar in the kettle to descale it, so need to boil up a couple of jugs of water to get rid of the taste!
Due at a pre-school managers meeting this morning, so need to print off the paperwork.
Hope you all enjoy something today. ((HUGS)) to any who need one. Take care.

    Morning All,
Happy Birthday to the twins  (well it's legal now:D)
Have had a little shuffle round the garden this morning, picked some raspberries, gooseberries & the last of the strawbs to have with my oats in apple juice only to discover that I hadn't actually made that up last night :o so am defrosting some frozen yoghurt & will have that with the berries & some seedy soldiers for a change. Have done some washing but will have to wait for 1 of the young adults to rise as I can't straighten up enough to put it on the line :rotfl::rotfl:DW is on & that is my probably my lot for the day. DD is on holiday for a week so she will be sorting dinner & hopefully washing my hair for me today, she is very fair & suffers from an horrendeous amount of allergies so will not be interested in sitting in the sun, so we will have a catch up tv afternoon & I will try & finish my knitting.
Just out of interest has anyone had an appt with an extended scope practioner? Have just read the letter & it says to wear loose comfortable clothing & footwear suitable for exercise :eek: hmm a bit worried now:o
    Enough of my rambling:)
    Hugs, spoons & hi5's as needed x
Hope all have a lovely day x

    Morning All,

Had rather a long lie this morning, I wasn't feeling very well yesterday and ended up in bed early, then got up about midnight wide awake, and watched Working Girl, and back to bed around two. I am still feeling a bit weird this morning, I am wondering if my BP is not right.

Happy Birthday to the twins, and hugs to Bitsy, I hope there is lots of sunshine for your friend this morning.

Lou got her op yesterday and was kept in again overnight as her BP was too low, I haven't spoken to her yet this morning, so am not sure what is happening, I passed on your good wishes yesterday. She was quite funny when she came out from her op, and was texting me all sorts of nonsense :)

Plan for today is to clear out my room again, I have a bit of a floordrobe situation going on, and that's about all really :o My DSIL and niece and nephew arrive from Swisscheeseyland tonight, so I am off to the airport to collect them, haven't seen them for a year, and am so excited about giving the kids a huge hug :D

Have a lovely day everyone, stay safe.

Jackie O - you should get the book either today or tomorrow - posted yesterday first class. xx

Hi there thank you so much I will put a cheque in the post to you as it cost a bomb to post .I will take it with me when I pick the boys up this afternoon from school the youngest mikey is in Art Club at school and loves 'crafty' things .as do the other two.Its a great 'rainy day' book for the holidays I am sitting here looking through it It has given me lots of ideas for 'summer holiday things to do'
uolypool Happy Birthday to your twin lads My youngest DGD Holly is 18 tomorrow, and she is buzzing about it already.I hope they have a great day and the 'kindle' one enjoys his as much as I do mine .Fabulous invention and so easy to take with you wherever you go.
I am changing my eating to dinner at lunchtime and a snack in the evenings as by the time DD gets in from work and I get home its usually gone half six and I don't feel like cooking that late .So today I am having pork chop new potatos and carrots and tonight when I come in I can have a sandwich and a yoghurt.I am determined to try and work through the freezer as its bursting at the seems at the moment so lots of NSDs for me this month.
My eldest gave me a big bag of books that someone had given her and there are some really good ones in there John Peels Margrave of the Marshes which I heard on Radio four and hadn't read along with three Bill Bryson books which I may take on holiday with me.I am a very happy bunny at the moment as I adore books and can never get enough.
Right I'm off to scrape some new potato's as I have to be popping round to Dds by 1.00p.m. to let the two dogs out for a leak and put the washing on the line for her.Its all go at the moment
    Cheers chums
    JackieO xx:D:D
