Do you mind saying what the film is?
Will have a look for it
Have had files which show the correct size but do not play for the reported duration0 -

Will try some of other suggestions above & will report back when I can
Thanks all
Just a thought, have you checked the avi file to make sure the whole movie is there? I would click the bar on the player near the end, then let it play to see if the credits come up.0 -
Hi, am adding the avi file onlygeordieracer wrote: »You must be doing something wrong then or the file size is above what you claim it is. Its very hard to diagnose as i cant replicate the same problem here and ive been trying.
EDIT: are you adding the folder or the file from inside the folder? Have you had any other problems with any other avi files like this?
It may just be a bug with it and if so uninstall it and then download it again. May work it may not"Hope for the Best

Hi, I tried this program, much quicker at converting avi to vob than my current one (DVDFlick). However, even though it successfully converted the whole file, when I use winxdvd to burn the DVD, the line at the bottom shows me that the file will quite easily fit onto 1 x 4.7gb disc, and yet once it goes through the authoring stage & then onto burning, I get an error message advising that there is insufficient space on the disc!
I also tried windows to burn the disc, and that keeps telling me to insert a black disc, which I have done 5 times - all brand new, all blank, and have tried DVD+R, DVD-R too
Any ideas?"Hope for the Best

You can use it to build DVD Video discs (from a VIDEO_TS folder), HD DVD Video discs (from a HVDVD_TS folder) and Blu-ray Video discs (from a BDAV / BDMV folder) with ease.
