    Evening,

Just popped into say hi and thank you for all my Happy Birthday's yesterday! :D

I have literally whizzed through the thread from where I left off yesterday. Can't remember all of it :o but -

lilme - ex OH would have concured with your auto spell. :p
toots - I will try and remember to upload some piccies of the kit kats
frittered away - Well done on your 1st! :j
On a flying front - I have today played with my pegs, have found the living room carpet and the stairs. Kitchen - don't ask! :o Dining room - ditto :o and I have a confession to make (especially to Valli) my ironing pile is a disgrace. I have at least 15 piles of 15 items to get through!!:eek::eek::eek::o:o:o:o:o:o:o Yes I really have fallen off the flylady wagon of late!

Anyway, I have work in the morning, then business work when I get home, then the bank, then the dr's and then taxi-ing offspring to places various. In between I need to fly, do the shopping and six million other things *sigh*

So all in all I should have a nice quiet day!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    TD refed..
    carrier of recycling out.. FLING.

I really do need to gut that kitchen again it is a tip in there.

I can't feed WM as I have nowhere to put the wet stuff that is in there at the moment, I do only have 3 loads.. until I strip my bed tomorrow :p

I really hope the decorator comes tomorrow to give me the quote, I think it will be bit of a shuffle if he comes Tuesday with the plasterer in there (assuming he turns up of course!)

My mother is asking my uncle if he would come help OH take some tat to tip so that will be another boring job done and a big fling.

I have done nothing to empty the girls room the last few days so I really must do some tomorrow and get most of the stuff shifted before Monday I REALLY don't want to have to dust it all once the plastering is done. I will measure the room for carpet as well tomorrow.. As it is the childrens room I am having underlay in there too in the hope of dampening the noise! :D I need a run to B&Q as well to get the paint :D I need to get a new plug socket for the hallway too.. I'm getting a metal one this time I've had about 10 plastic ones in the hallway and they are broken within days every time!

Anyway, I am off to bed.. I have sneakery to get up to in an hour or so :p

    Morning All

Spent last night doing an application for another job when we got in from the swimming lessons. I don't think I've told you but the TA staff at work is being halved so we've all got to be interviewed to see if we manage to keep our jobs. Interviews are next Tuesday.

Mum and Dad's for tea tonight so not sure that I'll get much done. I'm going to do a HHC in a min and then see what happens.

    Frit - well done - that's brilliant.

JillD - we'll always be here to celebrate achievements with you.

AJ - pleased to hear your mum's going to make the wedding - have a wonderful day.

    I can't remember anything else.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning ladies

had a shock last night. I was in the shed (Dutch barn) filling in some forms when Gracie came for a cuddle. I discovered her leg was pouring with blood. Cleaned her up and it stopped. Will be keeping an eye on her.

Wm is on. Off to do HHC back later

juliejim hope you keep your job or get another soon xx

Remaining housework tasks for Fri, Sat and Sun:

*keep cleaning, tidying, swishing and swiping daily
*do any vital phone calls, and write letter to bank
    * order some fish oil online
    * sell some things on ebay
    * work
*phone builder!!! THIS SHOULD NOT BE AS HARD AS I AM FINDING IT
*write down finances every night after children's tea

    Big jobs:

    * put stuff up in loft
    * reseal area round kitchen sink
    * make garden look acceptable to neighbours :P
    * get laundry basket almost empty, with clothes put away (a big job this, it was nearly empty till I decluttered our room)

    General:

*spend another 45 minutes decluttering our room
*hoover halls, stairs, office, kids' room, bathroom and our room
*Kids' room: clean windows, dust, replace blanket, put up height charts, tidy surface
*Office: clear floor (again!), clear and clean desk
*Bathroom: clean shower screen, bleach window corner where mildewed
*Living room: dust and polish, remove dirt from window seals, cycle some of kids' toys around
*Kitchen: proper clean of table, clean dirty bit behind washing machine, wipe cupboard doors, wipe microwave, clean windows

Not too bad in terms of what's left to do, and 3 days is plenty of time to do it in. I think after that the house will look better than it did a week previously, which is my main aim.

Now I need ideas...anyone managed to get their husband to help much with housework etc without being accused of 'nagging'? I am fed up of rushing around at night and getting up early in the morning while he sits on his behind! Last night I just left the cleaning. I was going to get up at normal time and this morning I thought 'I'll just stay in bed and see when HE gets up'. Roll on 7, the kids are awake, he is still slumbering, I woke him up. I've basically come on here and asked him to make their breakfast...he's acting like I'm being weak or something, and he's being all indulgent and 'kind' by doing it, which is always the way, when half the time I feel exhausted it's because he's not helping. Any ideas?
