Hello all
ajmoney so sorry that you are going through all this, I'm sure that whatever you decide it will be for the best.
xx
dailies done and bed changed. I'm working thurs and fri so I just have to do what I can today to be done for the week as the dailies barely happen when I'm working.
J finally has curtains up in his bedroom:j:j:j:j:j: We moved back here in dec 09 after big building works, but he was in our bed until about 6 month ago when he moved into his own bed - and he's been waiting for them ever since! He slept till 6.58 this morning so we got at least an extra hour out of him! hurrah!!!
I've got to try and schedule my rooms a bit differently to the lists I think as my front room and loft literally haven't been touched in months! I've drawn up my daily list to laminate and put on the fridge and I'm working on my own weekly list. I was going to do an index card set of less frequent jobs and rotate them as needed as well as keeping up with these lists where I can. I'll try to co-ordinate my weeklys with whatever room we're doing today so I can keep up with everyone - I just need to make sure I'm doing all the rooms - I haven't done the kids rooms beyond a tidy up in months because I work on fridays! Hope thats ok?

Just been emailed this.....
Seems so apt after the morning I've had! But thought I would pass on. Sadly the pics don't seem to want to appear.
All the organs of the body were having a meeting,
trying to decide who was the one in charge.
"I should be in charge," said the brain, "Because I run all the body's systems, so without me nothing would happen."
"I should be in charge," said the blood, "Because I circulate oxygen all over so without me you'd all waste away."
"I should be in charge," said the stomach," Because I process food and give all of you energy."
"I should be in charge," said the legs, "because I carry the body wherever it needs to go."
"I should be in charge," said the eyes, "Because I allow the body to see where it goes."
"I should be in charge," said the rectum, "Because I'm responsible for waste removal."
All the other body parts laughed at the rectum
and insulted him,
so in a huff, he shut down tight.
Within a few days, the brain had a terrible headache,
the stomach was bloated,
the legs got wobbly,
the eyes got watery,
and the blood was toxic.
They all decided that the rectum should be the boss
.
The Moral of the story?
Even though the others do all the work...
The !!!!!! is usually in charge0 -

WM engineer has just arrived...... I have a feeling we'll be decluttering £££ very shortly.:(
Flying suspended til tomorrow - can't do owt in the kitchen with the engineer in there; can't get to cleaning cupboard in any case as WM is currently in front of it, so can't get stuff to do another room; might as well call it a day.:o

Rang the LL, so hopefully the lock should be fixed today. Should also have the plumber round today to fix the leaks in the bathroom and kitchen ()
If a locksmith doesn't come out today I may just have to cut out the 11pm visits to Mr T, which will do my waistline some good anyway
I'll have to go to HB or wilkos or something tomorrow (don't want to leave the house today because we ARE getting results today. I hope.) to get one of those candle lighters. Thanks for the tips :j
So now I've got elec, gas, water, broadband, and council tax sorted. Need to do TVL and insurance. The other girls don't want insurance  It's their prerogative, but on a busy road in a big city (ground floor flat too!) I'd rather not take the risk, with all my computer equipment etc.0 -
Im eating a frog, have closed down the gas and electric at the old address, in the midde of cancelling home insurance and then need to ask for water bill so i can proove to landlord all bills have been paid in order to get our deposit back.0
-
It's a few years back now so might be wrong on this but we were renting a house and the lock went on the front door. LL did ask his BIL to repair it but despite living next door cba to come and do it. We were then advised to tell LL we would get locksmith in to sort it and he would have to foot the bill (Can't remember where advised though) as we had given him reasonable to time to sort it and it is classed as a security issue. Amazingly it got done straight away after that.0

Frittered Away - I hope the lock gets sorted. I think it is wise to make sure you are insured (although the insurance companies always weedle out of paying up anyway ) might be worth checking that your parents policy doesn't have you covered already.
AJ more (((hugs))) x
DW emptied, shopping done & put away (spent too much - again- should try planning/budgeting better methinks. Although I did buy printer ink, school shirts & batteries which pushed up the bill). DD2 & friend have walked the dog :T
School finished at 1.30 today (no clubs due to teacher training - they have a day off Friday aswell for teacher training!) so I have the boys here for double the normal time. they are quite lively, but it is wet outsidei will see if one of them wants to do some art & craft (the other won't want to)
Right, off i go then....0
