Thats for new connections and migrations from a LLU exchange. Migrations are free of any connection fee.

    Regards.

The opening poster will be a new connection - They will still be charged an "activation" fee unless they stay for 12 months. The minumum term for "free" activation products is 12 months.
This activation charge has to be factored in to the overall cost if leaving earlier.

Nildram is monthly - no contract

If you are with someone else they dont charge a migration fee but you have to supply / buy your on router or modem.

They may let you have free migration if you are working your notice with BT.

Have a look at their website - www.nildram.net
They have a lite option at £13.99

I am on Broadband2go at £14.99 a month and get 500 minutes free landline calls in that

pm me if u need more info

Same with Nidram £47 cancellation fee
Customers cancelling or regrading to another Nildram service in the first 12 months, will be liable for a £47 cancellation fee

  • Have a look at Newnet. They are good value for reliability, speed and customer service.

8mb lite starts at about £12

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are ANY monthly ADSL contracts with NO PENALTY any more.

There are loads of ips that do a 1mth contract with no penalities as long as you migrate from adsl to adsl.
The charges only apply if you have no broadband service then its usually a £47+vat connection charge, (which the isp has to pay to BT) although a few isp's waiver this, but then, they usually lock you into a 12mth contract.

Also problems going from LLU to adsl, not all isp's take LLU MAC's, and its usually a cease and reorder.

Wrong, if the OP is a new connection and wants to go on the maxadsl products then its a 1 month contract with 1 months notice to quit with the £45 plus vat charge.

Its not a 12 month contract.

If you want to know how I know, PM me and I'll put you right.

Read what I wote and the small print on the website - - and you have just repeated it - It's a one month contract - at a price -
a 1 month contract with 1 months notice to quit with the £45 plus vat charge.

The opening poster asked about "cheapest" and affordable - I repeat -possible early cancellation charges have to be included in what people might pay.
